Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 6)
Discussion
Just browsing, as you do. Not sure if this is any good for anyone? Seems decent at 21% of an (admittedly abitrary) assumed discounted price of £30k (they quote £35k).

VW Touran SE Family or Skoda Kodiaq SE Tech??
With the new Touran deal that came out today it works out to be about £850 cheaper (over 24months) to get the Touran over the kodiaq.
Head says Touran but the Kodiaq is massively better car than Kodiaq. Any thoughts?
Kids will absolutely the love the glass roof in the Touran. If you're looking at 7 seats in the Kodiaq I'm unclear how usable they are for kids with car seats or booster seats. Touran's have Isofix. With the new Touran deal that came out today it works out to be about £850 cheaper (over 24months) to get the Touran over the kodiaq.

3 kids annoying each other on one row. If the kodiaq was 3 seats in middle it would be a done deal. Thanks for thoughts.

I'm not sure about the Touran - but three kiddie seats across in the middle row of the Kodiaq looked like it would't work - with 4 kids, 3 needing seats, that puts me us off as we need one of the rear seats down to give us reasonable boot space. Best thing to do is go and have a look and take your seats with you, but I appreciate this is a challenge if you need to respond to a great lease deal in a hurry.
You can make it work. Have tried all the seats. It’s just a little annoying getting to seat belts if doing everyday. Likely put one in front or back depending on how many people are needed in car each day. I know both cars can work but the Touran is geared up for it slightly better and cheaper. Just it’s an MPV and the kodiaq is so much nicer. Plus the higher driving position is nicer and bigger engine. VW and their last minute curveball deals!🙂ib170 said:
Disappointing behaviour!
Whilst I haven't got the car yet, I was one of the first few to take up the 225xe offer from total motion for the wife, and at that point they were really good to deal with.
Which is great feedback, so wonder why are they resorting to posting up imaginary deals? Whilst I haven't got the car yet, I was one of the first few to take up the 225xe offer from total motion for the wife, and at that point they were really good to deal with.
E350, Audi A3 e-tron, Volvo T8 S90. All around the £360 mark, which is co-incidentally the same price as the 330e they're trying to push. Strange if not slightly devious behaviour.

Yes I know. We can make the kodiaq work as 2 in boosters and one new baby. Can fit all 3 across but most days would have in 7 seat format to give more options. Not sure I want all

5008 has 3 seats across the middle, if you've not already considered it?3 kids annoying each other on one row. If the kodiaq was 3 seats in middle it would be a done deal. Thanks for thoughts.

It’s not just if there are three seats, it’s how wide they are. Not many cars can comfortably fit three child seats across the rear seat and be able to do up the seatbelts etc. Incidentally I saw a 5008 this morning for the first time, wow that thing is long!
FYI i pulled the trigger on ipace deal mentioned before https://www.fleetprices.co.uk/personal-lease-cars/...
It will be second car so the 5k per year should be ok for me. My PCP on the A4 runs out around 6 months after the ipace will. That means i get a reasonable stagger.
Ive never seen a 60k vehicle at such a price when so new so just had to go for it. Getting it in white and managed to restrict myself to black pack as only option.
PS going to get the gap for £160 even though it doesnt cover deposit, only remaining finance vs insurance valuation. I know people say it shouldnt happen but they made me tick the box on the contract. Ill aceept being swindled out of 160 given how good the deal is in my mind.
Only problem now is insuring for group 49!

You can definitely fit three child seats/boosters across them. We've got one and love it - a lot of standard kit from the Allure trim upwards.Incidentally I saw a 5008 this morning for the first time, wow that thing is long!

It's not that big, especially given its 7 seats. We have one and its not as long as my S5 which is only what I'd say a medium sized car. Most of the extra size over a 3008 is the squarer back end I think.Incidentally I saw a 5008 this morning for the first time, wow that thing is long!

You should call Contract Hire and Leasing and report it. I did that about 18 months ago and the lady I spoke to said they take it very seriously when their customers put fake deals up. (0161 482 7650)
The FCA too, as they take a dim view on misleading advertising. All together quite shady.

It's the independent seats that would sell the Touran but I know I can make it work with the Kodiaq. £850 saving is pretty good though. Might have to swing past VW later to double check.

I'm not sure the seats are independent? But the rear two (3rd row) on Touran do have Isofix. I don't know if car seats / booster fit in the back of Kodiaq (with a decent sized kid in them). I haven't seen a clear answer on that.If you're at VW would be worth having a look if they've got a Tiguan Allspace which should give a clue on Kodiaq although they're not exactly the same.

I considered the 5008 and then remembered I don't like Peugeot. I drove a 3008 and found it uncomfortable. I think I'm made for German sized cars! ;-)
She went from a Kia Sportage so it is an upgrade. Far nicer to drive than that IMO. Fit and finish inside leaves a bit to be desired though, and the seats whilst nice looking could be comfier.davver99 said:
hope for some deals on the new mercedes a35 amg and hope it is out around march 2019
I doubt there will be deals on it for the first 6 months after launch, MB don't support new product straight away. As it's an AMG it won't fall under A Class terms for leasing companies as terms letters exclude AMG product and require a separate line stating A35/A45 etcFast Bug said:
