We looked at the Kodiaq with the intention of putting three car seats across the middle. Very little chance of that happening. The rearmost seats are occasional seats or small children only. Having looked at it we went with the 5008 instead. 1+17 £262 per month with some brokor fees.

We looked at in we could do 2 thin high back boosters and one baby seat (what we need). Worked fine when you needed a big boot. Probably would put one booster in the back most of the time though. Only ever 2 adults so the back seats work fine for small ones.

Just really don't want an MPV if I can avoid it.

ex vat prices - monthlys dont include the inital rental, which is misleading for the majority of leasers here, so its 45% more expensive than listed

No link as their price online was higher, it's from Smart Leasing Solutions, I spoke to Neil.

I think it's possible in Kodiaq if you happen to have the narrowest boosters and a baby seat. I've got a 5/2/baby and so no combination would work. If you haven't seen the new 5008, go take a look at it. It's nearly as impressive as the Kodiaq in terms of quality but more practical, the send level spec also gives you a lot of equipment which would be extra on the Skoda and this is coming from a Skoda fan who currently has an Octavia.

If they're marketed at personal users then yes, they should include VAT. Not sure why you think the "monthlys" (sic) should include the initial rental though (I know what you're getting at - the old "amortised") . They have to be accurate with their advertising, not conform to a silly forum rule, so £xxx initial £yyy monthly, which they do in this case (except for specifying the inclusive of VAT amount).

Guys I'm after an E class , I know total motion "have" a deal but don't want to deal with false advertising companies

What do you guys think of this ?

https://www.stratstone.com/new-cars/mercedes-benz/...

It's a 4 year PCP, so almost a lease if you hand it back
999 upfront
380 a month
10k a year

Plenty on CH&L without having to go near Total Motion if you want to avoid them.

I think majority of leasers here can cope with vat and a higher initial.
Perhaps you could have just added TAP or amortised to help. ( I’ve had too many beers to trust my calculator finger!)

Look, if you are a broker then why not just pay for advertising. You have made a few posts over the last couple of years all advertising this firm.

I would rather the brokers in here be honest post some of their deals, rather than pretend to be punters posting this amazing deal they have just found.

It just makes you look dishonest and judging by the brokers I have spoken to over the last month you probably are!

Mods, isn't it time for a clear out?

I think there are only 2 brokers allowed to post deals on PH, so I'd assume they "sponsor" in some way to be allowed to do so. I got bounced from one of the threads once for posting some deals I had even though I contributed in other ways. It just encourages people to sign up and pretend they're not a broker, so the thread needs cleaning up fairly often smile

For clarification yes i mean amotorised cost. It would be easier for first timers to compare and make a choice

For example if you don't an offer of £200 per month ex vat turns to £220 per month and if you dont factor in inital rental (example 9m) it turns to £268.88

Also some special offers from brokers are charging £2400 inital rental or in some cases for mercs a £3000 inital rental. Thats a huge upfront portion. Yes it should mean your 23/35 monthly will go down but this is why effective price is important to note. To put in context £2400 is 12m (one year!) of payments upfront if monthly cost is £200 ex vat

I find the simplest way is that £2400 upfront is (near enough) £100 per month spread over a 24 month deal.

anyone used Smart Leasing before?

Mate in work is looking for a new car - they have an E Class 220 AMG Line for £324 on 1+35 (5k miles), in stock - seems really good.

CHL have others about the same price but just the SE only.
