Got my deal through Vehiclesavers 2 years ago and am now looking to go through them again, any way of saving that £300 admin fee??

Seems like I'm paying them for nothing when I could go to Alphabet myself...

Any chance of posting a link?
I can't see these prices on their website. Cheers.

Not awful, but a fairly average deal.

Found here for £1 more per month but no fees

That deal I can't help but feel was to lure me in.

Rung them up and they claimed that they had sold out and have now put the price up £30 per month.

Each to their own, I think the S90 is one of the best looking large saloons.

Agreed. Don't forget to look at the spec of the actual car which as an R-design, I think the spec shown is a momentum which looks a bit naff.

Think it works out at about 25% of the £58k list as well.

I like the look of the specced up Volvos, the ones the leasing companies always use the image of. The lower range ones though are pretty awful looking though in my opinion. Mind you that goes for most cars really.

Forget how it looks for a moment - the excess is shown on that page - is this a new thing, as I have not noticed it before on that site before? It is usually the one missing bit of the important financial info.

Also, that seems to be a very low excess mileage for that car.

No link unfortunately and I believe the email goes out before the deals go live on the website.

On the footer of the email it had the below:

I think it's possible in Kodiaq if you happen to have the narrowest boosters and a baby seat. I've got a 5/2/baby and so no combination would work. If you haven't seen the new 5008, go take a look at it. It's nearly as impressive as the Kodiaq in terms of quality but more practical, the send level spec also gives you a lot of equipment which would be extra on the Skoda and this is coming from a Skoda fan who currently has an Octavia.
Decided to stay with the Kodiaq. Much prefer it and would rather have something we prefer. Can always change in 2 years if we don't get on.

Hi, my son's looking for a 2.0Tdi Golf R-line 150 contract hire. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a good deal or a good dealer?

Yep. Mines was to replace 2 existing cars which just rentals together cost more than the I-Pace!

My credit rating should be fine but granted my salary is only like 60% of the OTR price. My guess is that that's probably the issue.

Little disappointed but ho hum, what else can a man do! Something else will come round smile
I fortunately got on this deal the day it was posted so I got lucky. I have had it before tho where company’s have told me unfortunately you didn’t pass the credit check. Think it may be a tactic rather than having to tell you the truth that they have no allocation left.

If you wished to test that theory you could check your credit report for searches made by Lloyd’s Bank / Lex Autolease, who are the credit providers for FleetPrice’s ipace deal. It’s doubtful that credit searches would be undertaken if the allocation had been exhausted.

Try your local VW dealer, they will often match or slightly beat brokers deals but without the fees.

Do a bit of work yourself.

For VW lease from dealers with no fees, what car leasing is a good starting point:

https://www.whatcar.com/car-leasing/

Not sure I've seen the r-line model on a decent offer ever.

Just searching through the Golfs without specifying a model you'll be able to see which have decent support and represent the best deals.

The difficulty is with leasing, if you're looking for a very specific car you might be waiting a long time.

You/your son probably need to be a bit more flexible in terms of what you're after, or failing that, see if there are any competitive PCP deals.

We've been to the local dealer, always my starting point, but I can't believe how difficult it is to buy a car. Nobody ever rings you back! Had the same issue with the big shiny new local JLR dealer, wouldn't return calls or emails. Eventually bought a car from a dealer in Perth (230 miles away) who have been superb and are delivering the car tomorrow.

Luke.
