I would disagree with your thresholds if using the RRP.

I'd say 18%-22%ish is a decent deal depending on the make/model/spec.
Under 18% is where the really awesome deals kick in and they've not been that uncommon really.

Last 3 deals I've had over 2 years:

V90 R Design, May 2018 - 16.4%
Pug 5008 GT Line, Nov 2017- 18.6%
Audi A4 Avant Sport, June 2016 - 16.9%
Where did you get these? Were they the full amortised price over the 2 years?
Yes full amortised over 2 years including VAT. Volvo for example is £6880 over 2 years/8k vs £42k list price including options. (£215/month, 9+23). Peugeot was £190/month on 9+23 and A4 Avant was £168 on 6+23. I know it's not technically the best 'deal', but the A4s were stupendously cheap.

The V90 (and S90) deals were widely discussed on here in the last thread and pushed out heavily by brokers. Got mine direct from Volvo Stoneacre.

The Pug also came from a tip off on here but was advertised on broker's website - was lucky to get one of a small batch that were available to order prior to it's launch, though a similar deal did come back on factory orders I believe. The Audi A4 deals at the time were also widely available and a fair few on here ended up in them.
The agreed % are based on 10k mpa, so your figures will be skewed slightly due them being for 8k mpa.

Nine in 10- dealers (86%) believe there will be tactical registrations taking place to register WLTP impacted vehicles ahead of the 1 September deadline.....

.....This stands to create a significant spike in August registration figures – may be even record breaking

Don't forget their £295 fee, which skews things slightly.

It is a bit odd I agree, alongside the digital dashboard. Suppose they think it looks upmarket...Mercs tend to have them too.

It was between the Pyrite Silver and Atlantic Blue for me. Didn't actually see the Urano Grey in the flesh and the pics online may not have done it justice. The car looks great in whatever colour to be honest, it really is a headturner! I have seen 3 on the road in the last 2 weeks however expect that to change in the next 6 months before I get mine!
I have seen a few of these now and it is definitely an over-styled mess of a marmite car - looks worst in yellow IMO.

Still - if it's cheap....

no one needs an analogue clock, as clearly digital does suffice but i thought everyone understood that these things tend to get included to make things appear slightly classier...

I've only seen silver and yellow (which I think is a bit marmite, and not for me)...as it happens a yellow one was the only one I could have had from stock last week, but the spec wasn't what I wanted. I'd have probably compromised and taken it in any other colour though.
Can you please point me in the direction of the yellow stock car - although I've got one on order, it's not due until next year (& like marmite, I love the tumeric yellow :-) )

My Arteon is Urano Grey, ordered before any were available to view last year, but now I’ve seen one in Tumeric Yellow, I wished I’d been braver (and less stingy) and ordered it in that, think it looks great.

Arteon in Tumeric saved me from a never ending headache smile I'd been firing deals across to my indecisive parents who remained non committal for months. Seeing the Arteon in Tumeric had my mum sold who duly persuaded my Dad to sign on the dotted line biggrin

There was lots of dithering in the intervening weeks, particularly by my quite conservative dad who was apprehensive he could pull it off biggrin. But half a year on I have to admit we all really like it. And they've had lots of positive comments, including being stopped at the lights and told by neighbouring drivers they love the car, asked what it is, etc.

Really well appointed for a VAG. Looks good. Practical with the hatch style boot. And quite rare at the moment. No slouch either.

i'm not saying it is classy. I am saying I thought everyone knew that was what manufacturers were at least trying to achieve.

Try one of your local dealers. They can search the system for cars on the ground or soon to get on a boat.

When the S4 deals were on I phoned a couple of my local dealers if they would match the deal. Since I'm in the SE none would, but one was kind enough to tell me who had stock.

Bare in mind you will have to take any options on a stock car. So whilst you may want the colour, you'll probably find there are a few other boxes ticked as well.

Understood. We just managed to avoid a people carrier with ours...worst was when we had one in a full-on baby seat and two boosters, which was a bit of a squeeze in a 'normal' saloon but works ok in a wide-ish one like a Mazda 6/Mondeo. I liked the look of the Tiguan Allspace when I was in the VW dealer recently...just a slightly stretched Tiguan with a 5+2 seats arrangement. Might be worth keeping an eye out for lease deals on those. Probably a touch smaller than a Kodiaq but not too different. Around £300/month on a 6+23?
Yes that’s what we’ve found. Almost got a Tiguan but would have been so annoying trying to do the seat belts all the time. Having the extra 2 seats will help. Trying to stay away from the Touran if I can help it!
