When did this happen? Only thing I can find is the change to the tiered system in 2016, and the Gov.uk site still lists the 225xe as eligible for the lesser grant?

I am pleased with this, as manufacturers took the piss, some of these hybrids (Mini) only do 10 to 15 miles...

Though the government should of just changed it to 60 miles rather than scrapping it completely
From gov.uk website:

They are absolute dheads doing this at such short notice. Unless there is something to cover cars on order it will mean a lot of people being way out of bed with a car they are waiting for! Surely they need to give 6 months notice at least to be reasonable about it. I aren't too bothered about the grants themselves more bothered that some people's cars will be getting £2500 or whatever it is more expensive between them ordering and delivery. And likewise for the leases.

No, they don’t need to give 6months

I don't understand this. Surely they set the prices in the first place?

Anyway, hope I'm not too late tomorrow to pull the trigger on either a momentum or r-design!
Yes - I don’t understand the logic on this one either?! Perhaps they underestimated the interest they would receive/the state of the current PCH market?

The garage said they’d had a lot of orders and it was the same across the dealer network.

Hope you were in luck. I saw a few leasing sites had pulled the T40 deals (Select had changed it to “Call Us” but I think National Vehicle Contracts had a few pre-configurated ones).

I’ll just chip in, I had an S90 T5 press car for a week and did 1200 miles in it. I really wouldn’t want the T4 as the T5 was really gutless and has 60hp more. The only variant I’d consider is the T8.

A post further up has reminded me about the 4-Series GC though, I love that car. I’m going to go and hunt for deals on a 430d GC xDrive M Sport....
What did you expect it to be like though? A 2 tonne brick with a 2L engine. Its doing 0-60 in sub 8 seconds which is neither great, but neither a slouch either IMO. My other 2 tonne brick, BMW X6 40D, is only 1 second quicker and its got 300+BHP and twin turbos. As I understand it, T5 has a turbo, helping top end so maybe you weren't getting the benefit perhaps? The T6 has a supercharger and turbo charger so you get support all the way through the rev range. Would love that T8 though, 400BHP is the way to go smile

I think I posted this earlier, but this is the T4 on the 0-60 - I wouldn't call it gutless - takes about 2 seconds 0-30, 5.5 seconds to 50MPH and 7.5 seconds to 60MPH, slightly hampered by the gear change just before it gets to 60MPH....

They've st their pants with electric cars like they did with solar panels. I'm going to order (rent) a diesel I think!!

Interested to hear thoughts on this (the deal, not the car!).

What Car guide is £58,315, which makes this lease about 28% of list but it's based on 15k miles.

It wasn't on my short list due to price and hot deals on premium brands like this/Porsche never seem to come along, but this is a lot lower than I've ever seen and as it's from a main dealer hopefully genuine.

The base Levante is pretty poorly speccd. And overpriced.

Ghibli's were about £100 a month cheaper a few months ago.

Personally I think a RRS or I-Pace would be better value. Lots of options for £650 a month.

Levante isn't that great. A Stelvio QV is 3+35 £570. And a better car overall

Sorry i know this is a lease deal forum but i am after lease contract information.
I electronically signed the financial paperwork to lease a vehicle 10 days ago.
I now find myself unexpectedly out of work.
Just weighing up my options but where do I stand cancelling the order at this stage?
I have not paid any fees or deposit at this stage.
I have e-mail the guy i have been dealing with but wanted to get a consensus of what to expect.
Any distance selling is subject to a 14 day cooling off period. You can cancel today without any penalty.

Agree something like the RRS would be a better car, but the cheapest on CHL for the same terms is currently £1,001 a month. Same with the i-Pace (which gets expensive quickly with higher mileages).
That was why the price of this one stood out.

Emailed them and have a quote already. Gone back asking if I can put 9 months down and when delivery would be. Trying to research the company as well given it sounds too good to be true!!!

I’d been told that the NRing is sold out already, so I very much doubt it’s real sadly. Great value if it is though, and I’ll be very envious, it looks great!

I got excited, but it looked pretty bogus! Anything close to a deal on a Stelvio QF and I am going to be over it like a wasp on jam! Not see anything yet though!

Hi guys,

Currently in the market for a V90.

Best I've got so far is (8k Miles, Osmium Grey, Reverse Camera):
T4 Momentum 1+35, £334.15 p/m (inc VAT, + £238 processing fee) via MotorLet

This works out slightly cheaper than the Santander offer, (£341.12, 1+17).

Can this be bettered?
