Thanks PP, would of been a perfect little station commuter/weekend motor that.

Hello chaps

This thread served me well back at the end of 2016 when I wrote off my E class coupe and got an identical replacement from Select as a result of this thread.

Currently paying 398/month on a 15k/pa 3+23 for an E200 coupe AMG line edition, in metallic brilliant blue, COMAND online, pano roof, intelligent light system yada yada.

It goes back on December 19th.

Too early to start looking? I'm after the new E class, not bothered whether it's the E300 petrol (that's a 245bhp 2 litre) or the 220 diesel. All I care is that it isn't white, preferably isn't silver and that it must have the full widescreen dashboard.

Anyone seen any deals? I reckon that in the coming months I might be able to get down to a price not dissimilar to what I am paying now.
Defintely time to start looking, but I think you'll be lucky to get that price again for 15k miles. Best I can see for the coupe is 3+23 £507 for the E220d on 10k miles, which is definitely not a good deal.

Saloon is a fair bit cheaper, E220d for £383 on a 3+23, but only 8k miles and you'll have to add the widescreen option

Yep - they're way off. I can probably stretch to 450 as I will save 50/month on fuel. My other option is to go back to an SLC; I had two of the 250CDis previously (SLKs then) and they cost buttons to run. My commute gave me 70mpg.

The thing is that I am really set on another E class coupe.

I need to grab one of the "in stock" offers when they come up.

Just about to fist the kumquat on one of the M2 deals but looks like the 24 month deals have been pulled and prices have increased. Great deal for anyone who managed to land one.

Give Graham a bell at V4B, the deal is still live on their website so you might just get in...

Ha, love this thread. I remember admiring pictures of your blue E200 back then. I got a white one off that same Select stock deal, goes back soon too.

I'm afraid I also think you will be lucky to get anything like that again, given the dearth of deals generally, WLTP and the fact that was an outgoing model when we got ours. The new E coupe is still pretty new.

Any reason why it has to be a Merc? I think your chances of getting an E Coupe for December at £450 are pretty much zero

Good work Gary, must have made it just in time. What colour are you thinking?

Yep made a couple of quick calls yesterday and secured a slot thanks to Brian at V4B, first time I’ve dealt with them and they seem very good.

I’ve gone for Hockenheim silver with blue stitching. What about yourself? Actually went and saw the sunset orange colour at chandlers in brighton, it’s nice but I think the hockenheim is quite special and suits the car very well. The dealer said he couldn’t get me one before summer, demands pretty high by all accounts.

Looked through this forum for a while, so thanks to everyone who posts. FTK on the Cupra deal with IMG warrington. I live nearby so popped in and they said their phone/ email hasn't stopped since it went up.

Went for 12k miles in the end with 1+23 at 319. Projected delivery at the moment is January/ February next year.

The dealer I got my previous VRS from couldn't get anywhere near the deal and coincidently VWFS rang up just after i'd signed for the new one and they also mentioned that IMG were making little/ no money from the deal.

Probably about shifting units and their status with Seat UK as a result.....

I think thats their mentality as I enquired when the last deal was on in July time and they were happy to tell me what Seat always go to them if they have a cancelled order of cupras.
