My friend's Octavia 1.0TSI SE Tech Manual ordered at the end of August with Leasehub, was delivered on Friday. Some people in this thread were doubtfull if it will be on time. It took around 10-11 weeks from order to delivery. In the meantime friend was getting weekly updates with estimated time when car will be at dealer. She ordered standard Energy Blue, which she says is very blue.

It was delivered 2 days before end of her current lease of Astra 1.4 Elite NAV from Jet. She was able to synchronise collection and delivery of new car for the same day with no issue. Car was delivered on wheels with around 190 miles on a clock.

Since she ordered, price went a bit down by £200, she paid £4200 for 2 years and 10K miles pa. Excess 3.6p and it was cheaper to take 10K miles pa and pay excess for anything extra, than taking deal on 15K or 20K miles pa.

Her comments are: 1.0tsi doesn't feel that slow but noisy on 1st and 2nd gear. She likes nav and dual zone aircon, better parking sensors than in Astra, service interval setup to longlife and currently showing 19600 miles or 705 days until next one. A bit noisy inside from air stream and wheels. In general: cheap, big car for commuting and daily duty.

Of course form PH point of view it's very basic and looks a bit nasty with small wheels (that's my opinion based on pictures I received.)

Those Octavia 1.0T SE Tech deals are brilliant. My current Octavia lease is coming to an end and best I've found is 1+23 10k miles via Bristol Street Skoda/Vertu Motors:

1+23
10k (3.9ppm excess)
£166.20 deposit
£166.20 x 23
£0 admin fee

£3988.80 total

March delivery on 19 plate

Seriously tempted for the white goods motoring aspect, not seen anything cheaper for that size/class of car.

Re the Astra Elite.

I was told no more in Stock.

Next batch. Mid Jan.

edit: Should say this was a Jet Vehicle Finance. Not leasing options (more expensive)

Not as good as previous deals on the car but I've just ordered the following:

Arteon R Line 190 TSI DSG
Urango Grey
10k miles per year
1 x 23 @ £327
No admin fees

Huge lead time of around 32 weeks but that suits my circumstances.

Actually, its not much of a deal. But we needed something big and it has heaps of room and we liked the look of it over other cars we considered. So, IMO, a good deal.

Not far off what I paid for my cheapo VW Passat Alltrack DSG - ok the Alltrack was 4wd and 190bhp, but around town it was horrible to drive. I am tempted by a DSG estate Octavia if I can get close to this price.

ETA - I looked on Vertu and no 1.0Tsi estates, but the DSG hatch was only £178.80 on 1+23. I could probably cope with the hatch as the boot is pretty big.

Based on deals posted by people on an Arteon thread.

From what I can remember they had this deal back in 2017:

3 x 23 @280 = £7280 (don't know if there were fees)

Mine works out at £7884.

Hi all, I'm kinda new here, but I've been a fan of leasing as kid as I just find it much better and logical than buying a car. Just wanted to ask one question, I got a seat Leon 1.4 150 bhp fr on lease 6x23 for £160 a month for my mum, now my uncle says that we are spending too much on the car, however after reading a couple of comments I think we are getting an awesome deal, if someone could just confirm whether this deal is good or not.
6x23 = £4640 over 2 years, total value = £23k, now as a percentage it works out to 20.1%. I'm pretty sure this is one bloody bargain.
I'm assuming this is an old deal?
Yh got it in around November last year

Well acutally a few hundrew squid cheaper (overall) lol.

If i, or the good folks on this forum, can’t find anything better in the next 48 hrs, i’ll be driving around in a Vauxhall for the next 2 years.

Never thoughtt i’d be saying that again but got to be flexible in this leasing game i guessbiggrinbangheadbiglaugh
In terms of quality, yh your better off with a golf or seat, but in terms of performance you'll never find anything cheaper, also I don't think there are any cars around 200 bhp, (seat Leon 1.8tsi 180bhp or gtd 2.0 184 bhp) only other option is GTi, but then your going into the £300+ mark, at the end of the day if you aren't fussed about all your gadgets, except a sat nav and heated seats then your good to go, it's a 1.6 which should be more economical than the 1.4 plus 50 bhp, and it's a lease so you can thrash it all you like.

P.S. anyone know if vauxhall have different turbos/system compared to other cars like seat, or is 200bhp that much of a difference, because my mum's seat seems to have a lot of torque from around 30-70 but feels sluggish starting off.

Seems like a decent deal. Did you contact them direct or is there a weblink for the deal?

Phoned them directly after seeing it on leasing.com. I think it was a standard deal across a number of the leasing sites (albeit a fee with the brokers). I was told that Mini had released a number of pre-build slots to be registered by the end of the year.

That's seriously cheap motoring for a couple of years.

Only downside is the car itself, but at that price it's so cheap it would be churlish to moan too much!

Seen this deal on WhatCar leasing directly from a (few) dealers. Great spec, includes leather and metallic and the comfort pack. The Mini range has just been updated to make it easier to buy and the 'Sport' comes with more options than it did before, but annoyingly it comes with the bog standard halogen headlights. The LED's are around £1k extra which is a shame.

Certainly is. I have reservations about the 1.0TSI engine in a car that size, would feel like a big backwards step after the vRS I currently have. Otherwise the Octavia is a great car.

Pretty irrelevant question during a lease, they are obliged to fix or replace a faulty car.

As diesel is getting ridiculously more expensive then petrol, what good petrols cars has anyone come across for around 6x23 for under £220 a month, trynna find a car for my dad, although he goes on the motorway and does average 150 miles minimum a day, would you say getting a diesel is still worth it, current car is 2016 honda civic 1.6 dtec does around 60 mpg, I have seen a lot of offers on the new Skoda Octavia 1.0 tsi PLUS it's automatic which he is just looking for.
You're not going to get many lease deals for 150 miles a day.
I’ve never seen any lease deals (personal) offering anywhere near 55k p/a mileage allowance - or is 150miles p/day a mistake??
Kind of a mistake, I'm pretty sure the deal I saw was for 10k but half way through my dad has had to do around 100 miles a day for work so on average about 2k a month, not sure if he changed it with them or is just going to pay the extra mileage at the end.
