Which models does it mention? I am due a renewal soon with VWFS and don't get emails, does it link to a website or could you share the email address?
The email came from fleetrenewals@vwfs.co.uk, however the only words that are used are "we have a strong campaign for Seat Models on at the moment"

So have taken the bait and asked for the pricing on a Ateca Lux and Tiguan R line

A 1.0 litre engine in a car that size, is, imo, a bad idea, look at the problems ford have had.
As mentioned the 1.5 is available too. But reviews feel the 1.0 is fine all things considered...doesn't mean I wouldn't prefer the more powerful lumpnmind you.

Daughter has that engine (115PS) in an Ateca - works fine. And if you're leasing it's only got to last 2 or 3yrs.

We've ordered an Octavia 1.0 SE Tech DSG Estate - having test driven one on a variety of roads at various speeds it seemed fine as a family wagon. Granted its not massively fast, but as an everyday car I feel it will be perfectly good. I'm not sure I'd like to run it up and down a motorway daily though.

As for reliability - its a lease car that will be under warranty for the duration of our 3 year lease! If it dies / goes wrong it goes back to a dealer to be fixed. When the warranty runs out they can have it back to sell at auction and I'll lease another car!

It's horses for courses isn't it. I've spent a bit more on an S90 for toys and looks and wheels and bigger engine because I want to. Is it better value than one of these Octavias? Absolutely not. I looked at these and the 200hp Astra and was sorely tempted by both.

I’ve had the 1.0tsi Ateca for 18months, very impressed with the little engine.

Decent at doing its job without many thrills.

That’s what I thought considering it will probably only need 1 service in the term and tyre insurance can surely be had for £200.
I meant to reply before, but you realise tyre insurance doesn't cover you for routine tyre replacement, only damage/punctures? Budget £600-£800 over 30K miles for that alone. If your maintenance includes tyres it's not quite such a bad deal.

I think with tyre insurance you need to read the small print. In my instance wIth VWFS they don't cover punctures or accidental damage, just wear, but for £1.50 a month I decided it's a little price to pay for the S4 on conti's.

So I've been quoted on an Octavia SE Tech Estate 1.0 DSG, £200 a month on a 1x23 profile. That's with candy white added.

I have asked for a couple of little extras but they've said there is absolutely no movement in price.

Has anyone seen anything better before I inevitably FTK later today?

How much is the paint costing, as this can be got at £139/month on a 6+23, which amortises out at £167.96 month?

Hi, the one you've linked to is a non-DSG.

DSG one on same profile is £178/month which works out as £215 a month - I think!

biggrin that price is without VAT and on a 48 month contract. When I first click the link mind, it shows me it on a 24 month contract minus VAT. When I click personal price it goes to a 48 month contract with VAT added. Not sure what's going on with the website there.

I've been put off small engines by the 1.2 in my Qashqai. It's OK once you're moving but pulling out at junctions etc can be stressful as it's so gutless. If you don't balance the revs and clutch just right it bogs down and leaves you stranded in the middle of the road.

Need to replace the PCH on a Seat Leon that goes back in a few months. Fancy a Cupra this time, and also thinking of a three year deal, as two years seems to come by too quickly! But not 100% on that yet.

Seen this...

3*35
£782 initial
£261 monthly

I think this is ok...but not brilliant? Any thiughts? Or anyone seen any good offers?

I'm about to order another VW Tiguan - 2.0 TDi SE Nav 4Motion Manual 10k pa
Has anyone seen better than this:
3 + 35 - £899.95 month 1 followed by £299.95

This is direct through a dealer

I would prefer a SEL but can't find one on the same terms for less than £393 pm
I've also considered a Karoq SEL but cheapest I have found is £336.30

Is that for 10k? Looks good to me if so, the ones I've seen have been over £280 on 3+35.
