I’m sure the Audi is a nicer place to be than the XF Sportbrake Portfolio but the extra cost is rather staggering for the same list price (~44k).
Aren’t the Sportbrake deals on petrol cars?

Indeed, the 250ps Petrol. You’d have to factor in the difference in the cost of fuel over the term - maybe 35mpg vs 50 if mostly motorway mileage?

ETA that works out as ~£50/month more in fuel at 12k/pa. There aren’t actually any comparable 36 month deals on the XF but 24 months is £332/m amortised while the A6 is £431/m amortised. Factor in that £50 extra fuel and you’d still save £50/m. OK maybe it’s not as staggering as I thought, depends whether your keen on the Audi vs Jag and 36 months vs 24 months... it’s quite fun to compare these things though.

Have you factored in the recent change in the price of diesel and petrol?
Currently 10p/litre near me......

Cheers

I had just used the same approx price for both fuels. Having recalculated with petrol @ £1.22 and diesel @ £1.32, the difference in fuel cost is more like £39 per month @ 12k miles (again, rather arbitrarily assuming 35mpg vs 50mpg).

Good man!

Although TBH honest having been "lucky" enough to get a 24h test drive of an XF Sportbrake over the summer it would be an easy choice for me - dated interior, stodgy handling (Im currently in a Volvo so am an expert LOL), ancient tech and a local dealer who showed their customer service credentials by giving it to me with the fuel light showing. Niiiice touch

Cheers

Anyone know where I can find the bvrla charges for fair wear and tear on returning a lease car?

Found the guide but no charges mentioned...

BVRLA don't set the charges, the funders do so you'd have to look up your specific funders pricing matrix.

My S5 goes back in March and I am yet to order a replacement. I am hoping January will bring some good deals. New car sales are down and with the B word mess I am hoping there will be some deals. Although weak £ may have a countering effect.

Did anyone else order the Skoda Karoq SE Tech a few months ago and being told now that delivery is being delayed indefiently? We were quoted 12-14 weeks when ordering and we have no build date yet. Dealer is next to useless in giving us more information. Not sure where to go next as we need the 2nd car in the new year.

A mate of mine jumped on the cheap Tiguan deals a couple of years ago through Gateway2lease. He went for the R line which had supply problems. Broker/Dealer had him in a hire car for what must have been nearly 3 months until his car arrivec. No charge.

Whats the cheapest A class (Sport or AMG Line) with the executive/premium pack that anyone has found?

I've seen quite a few deals but the cost of either the Sport or AMG Line with executive pack isn't that much less than the premium pack.

I'm looking at 24 months with either 8K or 10K miles. The deal below is the one I was considering - thoughts on this?

Should be ok then as come March none of us will be able to afford anything bigger than a 1 litre 3 cylinder.

No chance, only options I have is to wait or take a much higher spec (and expensive) model they have in stock.

Do you not have the option to get out of the deal and go for something else?
