Yea, my date is 02/04/2019
ordered it 2 weeks ago.
Is that the date the broker / dealer is saying or an actual build slot from VW? Sounds pretty good based on all the previous Arteon leadtimesordered it 2 weeks ago.
"Please note that the ETA to Supplying Dealer is an estimation provided to us by the manufacturer and can be subject to change"
So nothing concrete.

I got in contact with the dealership and the girl I dealt with as my Scirocco is due back in July. Currently thinking of extending at the moment as there really isn’t anything.
She mentioned that deals are coming soon for the Golf R estate around £300 plus vat a month, 10k, 3+36months but she doesn’t know when. She thinks that is ‘stupidly cheap’. Is it just me or seems like a rip off to me considering I had an R before at £250 a month and that was considered expensive!

Yeah I was hoping for the R estate deal to drop and be half decent but ended up ordering a Cupra hatch. £359.99 3+35 10k was the figure I was told too, I did think it was about OK (the RRP of the estate is 38 odd grand) but not amazing and I wouldn't have wanted 3 years.I got in contact with the dealership and the girl I dealt with as my Scirocco is due back in July. The GTI "deal" is certainly not one I regret ordering the Cupra for!
Slightly off topic but I do question how bad it is for dealerships at the minute. My other half’s Mini is 3 y/o this summer and the Stratstone JLR PCPs posted a few pages earlier seemed right for her.
I can confirm that there are a few Evoques left at £319 x48 (old 2wd stock) but they wouldn’t transfer one for a test drive, no thanks.
There are also E-Paces £309 x48 standard spec. The sales manager however, wanted to shut at 3:30 (despite it saying 4pm online) so hurried us out of the dealership and turned another couple away. Do they really want to shift cars???
Anyhow, car of choice is now a Mini Convertible which Berry Heathrow seem to be leading the way on!

I keep seeing this Arteon offer which looks ok but I’ve not run any calcs on it percentage wise!
https://forms.hotcarleasing.co.uk/LeaseDetails.asp...
I hear that the Uk isn’t using up (quickly enough) it’s Arteon allocation / build spaces hence why there’s a few deals surfacing on it. I like it and would lease one however its in a tricky position in the uk market place. Purely my option but I see it as a bit of a Saab replacement in a weird sort of a way it fills a gap for people looking for something a bit different with a good spec, a bit sporty, that don’t want to be too flashy!
I read a financial article at the weekend that a large number of manufacturers haven’t adjusted their non SUV / 4x4 vehicle production quickly enough or indeed at all to balance additional SUV models being added to ranges. The result is essentially an over production of saloons and estates, this may turn into a bit of a s**t storm over the coming years!
There have been good deals on Arteons for well over a year, but it's no wonder they haven't sold much as the waiting lists have been ridiculously long due to GDPR, and there were very few even available in dealerships to look at. I agree they fill an interesting niche, the included kit is impressive and the interior space makes them a very practical family vehicle too with a bit of style, though I would hesitate to call them sporty (except in appearance maybe).https://forms.hotcarleasing.co.uk/LeaseDetails.asp...

This has been on a while and the Cupra deals in general were discussed at length a bit back. Interestingly though somebody did say a day or two ago when comparing prices they thought they had pulled it as they couldn't find it on the website but you obviously did!https://www.leasingoptions.co.uk/specialdeal?id=69

I ordered the Lux (very good VFM IMO at £10 a month), 1+23 15k £335pm. 10k was £296.
Really is a shortage of deals - should hopefully get my VW extension quotes today on my Golf R estate (due to go back June) - if they arrive will post on here as I know a few of us got the R estate around the same time (June 2017) - although I am not expecting amazing rates due to the shortage of R currently.
Hoping to at least do the informal 3 month extension, that takes me to September at least - hopefully by then VW may have sorted themselves out. Although tbh I will drive anything as long as it meets the requirements of being automatic and under 8 seconds 0-62 (I know I'm shallow), oh and prefer petrol.
Arteon could work but its pretty much as the golf on the inside (in terms of digital dash lay out etc - can't explain it something is holding me back!

I think my current GTI is going to be my last lease at this rate. We need something bigger and more economical and leasing is just getting really dear unfortunately so I can see my self going for a 2016 ish Xtrail Tekna.
It has been fun though. Had a diesel Focus ST3 and a Golf GTI which are two cars that I never thought I would have 'owned' certainly not from new.

When did you request it mate? I've been waiting 2 weeks now and still haven't had an email. Was going to chase today to see what's going on. If anyone wants one of the Volvo V90 CC T5 try contacting Santander. They have quoted me £270 on a 1+17 @8k. If I do the man maths to convert it to 24months 10k it works out about 17%.
Best deal of the year so far???
I know you’ve got evidence, but this seems far too cheap vs the other CC T5 deals, and anything else that’s showing on the Santander 1-2-3 website. Best deal of the year so far???
Is it a +VAT quote?

Sounds like VW the King of cheaters are really struggling to meet the WLTP regulations. Kinda brought it all on themselves.
I reckon once we hit a messy Brexit with the economy gone tits up and of manufactures have sorted their WLTP issues them they will be fighting for sale sales and need to offer good deals. Also the Golf will be hitting MK 8 release so their maybe be some blow out deals on MK 7.5 models.
They may be fighting for sales and offering great deals, but you'll have to order your car 18 months in advance for it to get across the sea and through customs in time...I reckon once we hit a messy Brexit with the economy gone tits up and of manufactures have sorted their WLTP issues them they will be fighting for sale sales and need to offer good deals. The next trend in sales tactics will be to "order your next car when you pick up this one"
