Here we go people have a laugh, I actually don't think this lease is that bad for a £82k car - compared to the PCP

Alfa Romeo Giulia Saloon Special Edition 2.9 V6 BiTurbo Quadrifoglio NRing 4dr Auto
£1,061.32 (inc VAT) a month Initial payment of £6,367.92 (inc VAT)
36 month contract
If you do 48 months its this
£985.69 (inc VAT) a month Initial payment of £5,914.14 (inc VAT)

To buy its this
Model Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo 510 hp Quadrifoglio NRING Automatic
On the Road Price £82,500
Customer Deposit £21,549
Amount of Credit £60,951
Monthly Payment £799
Optional Final Payment (incl. £10 option fee) £30,407
Total Amount Payable by Customer £89,509
Duration of Contract 48 months

Save 6861 leasing, plus obviously the tax cost on top!
The 36 month deal is over £43,000, which is around 53%, so even is worked out the 2 year amortised cost it's around 35%, so not a good deal in reality (<25% over 2 years is considered good)

Indeed. When you take into account an M4 Competition Pack + Ultimate Pack over the same 36 month term is £15k cheaper. eek

Funnily enough there is an interesting Giulia deal I've just seen though

2.0 TB 280 Veloce 4dr Auto

3+23 8k - £1062/£354 for a total of £9303 or 23%

By the way, the nring's were limited production. Only 100 or so made.

I'm pretty sure they're all sold out. If I wanted one it'd make more sense to buy because that car ain't depreciating like a normal QV!

For anyone who ordered a Leon with Leasing Options, did you get a call on the delivery date into the dealer, or some time afterwards? My car was supposed to be delivered to some Seat dealer up north yesterday but I haven't been contacted for delivery and couldn't get hold of them yesterday.....

Not hugely bothered as I guess they have to PDI it first and all that jazz, just wondered about the timescales.
My leon cupra was due end of March, I got an email last friday saying everyones deliveries have been pushed back 1 month because they have been held in the factory. Im hoping this doesnt continue as ill soon run into the hassle of having to overlap insurances, tax, etc. Even though I now get any paid taxes back, all hassle I was pretty certain to avoid.

Keep this updated when you get confirmed delivery, would be good to know.

Oh bloody hell, mine was due 19th (yesterday) but they haven't contacted me. 1 month will be a real pain in the ass as my Mercedes goes back in a couple of weeks.

1+35 at £245 for 8k

They do appear to be slowly getting cheaper.

But never realised just how poor the spec is.
When I was looking to order one last year the spec ended up putting me off (although they were cheap around Aug/Sept time). Realistically you'll need the GTI+ model to get most of the important kit on it, at that price anyway...

I had an email a couple of weeks back to say my Cupra built, on it's way to the port & is expected at the dealer w/c 8th April. It did say it's a provisional date, I'm fully expecting it to change after reading the updates above!

Yup that's the thing. If it was a + I would be happy to pay a bit more. But standard GTI spec is awful.

Hopefully a few deals will come soon for smaller cars.

That's an absolutely stunning car. I would jump on that deal and FTK with joyful abandon if I hadn't just had to go with an SUV for the missus and kids like everyone else in the entire world. It looks so good from every angle, it would out-run most things on the road and 350 quid a month is well worth the money for the 'turnbackability' that car would provide for two years.

I'd be all over this. Still got 6 months on my Velar so will start looking in about 3. But this is just what I was after. Now I'm hoping something like this or the Golf R Estate is still around in a few months time

I finally pulled the trigger on Abarth 124 Spider Auto. Mangoletsi had around 70 cars and are now down to 15. They have to be registered by end of the quarter. All cars have Bose and paint worth £400 or £600. They expect some extra 10 cars but they will have visibility pack and price will go up even more. From what I understand, car is not in production now.

I checked quotes I had in June 2018, when I was thinking for too long (hesitant about exhaust being too noisy for my small close), and cost is similar to what I was quoted back then for a car without Bose.

So, in June 2018, 10K miles per annum, red paint was: £6126.4 total for 2 years. (8K miles per annum was £5,808.64 total)
Current quote, 10K miles per annum, with white paint and Bose is: £6,358.83 for 2 years

I had 3 test drives last year, so I hope I won't be disappointed. Husband wasn't very happy when I told him, but he will have to live with it ;-) Neighbours too. I've been thinking about the car for last 9 months and watching prices and discounts. Cash price is now around £23K with discount but I wouldn't want to buy one and risk unknown depreciation.

I wrapped the deal in couple of hours, talked to salesman at 9.00, agreed on deal at 10.00, got a call from business manager to do finance proposal at 11.00 and confirmation it all went through and order form at 14.00. Car is in port and it will take 10-12 days to deliver it to dealer and unfortunately I will have to pick it up in person. Location of Mangoletsi is not very convenient for me.

Luke.

FWIWs I love ours. Leased it about 10 months ago. £1900 down and £148 a month.

Careful, Unity cancelled most of the Alfa 4C lease orders a couple of years ago.

If it’s any help - The R estate I’ve got can be held until Sep apparently - so might be worth enquiring. That was via Breeze VW

Close to making a decision on the E-Tron offer of 3+23 @ £1639 and £546.44 PM

Excess mileage is 0.33 /mile. Or 0.21 /mile if added to the contract up front. So 12,000 miles makes the price:
£611.98 PM and £1835 up front.

With the fuel and tax savings from my current owned car (first time leasing), i will save £193 PM.

In my case, after £193 fuel and tax saving and allowing for the deposit down, i make it £495 PM for 12000 miles in a £71k 400hp Audi....... 16.7% over 2 years.

The fuel saving of electric, if you can live with charging, makes leasing very attractive.

Anyone else looked into this deal more or seen anything else similar? (I-Pace etc), thoughts?

Had a quote and deal is genuine. Standard cars available in Red with Black Leather, or Grey with red leather for an extra £650 for metallic.

Just waiting for another couple of quotes back but very tempted. The cars are sitting ready to go as soon as this weekend apparently..

Only possible bone of contention is the excess mileage charge. 22ppm is pretty steep?
