They'll all be Mk7.5. I got my lease Golf R estate a year ago now and it was a 7.5. It'd be absurd for there to be stock of Mk7s somewhere that they're still trying to shift through lease deals.
Many thanks, I just thought all the mk7.5 were 310bhp

So this deal will be mk7.5? The estates are all 300bhp?

Anyone find any better deals than this?

Golfs R went down to 300bhp and Cupras to 290bhp. All due to WLTP.

Just spotted this deal on hotukdeals - https://www.yes-lease.co.uk/personal-lease-cars/sk...

Skoda Octavia VRS Estate DSG

£855 deposit
£285 month
3+35
15k per year
No admin fees
Looks ok. I was looking at one of these 18 months ago, and overall I was looking at at least another 80 per month - It was cheaper to get a Cupra.

Well, seems my leasing adventure has ended.

My Volvo v90 order can’t be fulfilled. Lease company are screening calls and not answering messages or emails.

I’m 500 quid down wondering what to do next. What a shower!

Volvo V90CC has been mentioned on the previous page (sorry I'm poor at quoting multi posts).

Its a big old barge.
Showing £5,800 over 18 months on leasing.com.
that is very tempting...
No longer available and was offer a "better" deal... 24 months on a v90 r design with paint and winter pack for 1139+23*380.

R design is nice too but sounds like a bait and switch now as all the original cars must have gone frown

Why are you £500 quid down?

If they can't fulfill an order, a refund is due, surely?

You’d think so. Their view - they fulfilled their part of the deal, arranged a deal between manufacturer and finance to facilitate the lease. Not their problem they cannot complete in it.

Currently writing to the FSA who regulate them. Doesn’t help that the lease company are just not replying to any form of communication.

What's the name of the company? Sounds like a name and shame is in order and we should all avoid them in the future.

To take your £500 is absolutely unacceptable and probably illegal. If you paid by credit card I'd initiate a charge back immediately

I paid with a bank transfer, so no option there.

I’m not allowed to name and shame due pistonheads rules. Next time, I’d have gone with my second choice instead though.

There's must be a way of hinting it to us? I don't want to be stung with some chancers.

Not sure if serious.

Let me fall for it, if you were being funny.

If I would go with my 2nd choice for leasing......then I wouldn’t go with....

It will become more common that basic cars that are not available appear in searches as Leasing.com, What Car etc allows you to search by “best deal” so brokers and dealers will exclude all options despite some of the stock only having cost options.

We were looking at trying advertising on there again for a few months but it really is a race to the bottom and ultimately I think they will loose brokers as only 4 or 5 will carry on advertising with them.

Think the cheapest deal few pages back were through Whatcar? Website.

You need to read through all the T&Cs carefully as I don't think I've ever heard of anyone else on this thread losing their money when the broker couldn't provide the car.

1stChoice has form for this. See the Jaguar XF Sportbrake fiasco.

First thing to do is lodge a formal complaint with them. If their final response is to refuse a refund, then the next step is to escalate the issue to the Financial Ombudsman who will undoubtedly rule in your favour.

£195 pcm aromatised through Jet Vehicle Finance @ 5K per year

£4696 for 2 years feels even better than my £280 pcm Scirocco R that has just gone back.
currently 3 month in on one of these (this car was alot cheaper oct / nov last year)

this is my first vauxhall and i have to say not overly impressed. Touch screen no longer works, i have to use the voice control to select a radio channel lol. the car is very fast but it just feels all a bit cheap inside.

seat takes for ever to heat so youll probably be at your destination before ur butt gets a chance to warm up. the heated steering wheel is good though.

little bit thirsty on the fuel but i suppose you'd expect that for 200bhp

Why not just take it into a dealer? That’s the whole beauty of new cars in warranty.
