Coming towards a natural change in cars in May and am looking at a few options.

Have an order placed for a M2 Competition, but as time goes on my excitement towards that seems to be waning and am now thinking the time could be right to switch back to a daily and a weekend chariot (haven’t had that luxury for 4 years).
The M2C would be used as a daily.

I’m thinking perhaps around a £10k very lightly used run around with reasonable kit, good warranty for the back and forth to work and the times I need to ferry our daughter around, then £30k on something special (ish), preferably manual, two seats is okay to use at the weekend or nice summer days, which would be kept in the garage.

For the £10k was thinking a Kia something or other, Suzuki Swift Sport or something similar.....

For the £30k, I’m looking at loads - 2006 Cayman S, 2014 Cayman, Z4M Coupe, Evora......

What would you go for?

Elise/ Exige or 911 997 would be a good investment and nice to have as a weekend toy.
I’m a big Porsche fan but can’t seem to get excited by the Cayman.

Me personally I would go for a Maserati GranTurismo for around 3k

And then something like a Ford Fiesta or similar for daily driving?

Brand new Dacia Logan MCV £10690

7 year / 100k factory warranty £750

£28560 left

Buy a slightly ropey Porsche 911 996 turbo with £27500

Ok it'll be ruinous but you'll have £1060 left to blow on hookers, and the Dacia will always be there

What about leasing a Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost 125 ST-Line for around £250 a month with maintenance for 3yrs, then looking at an M4 for £30k?

The only issue I would have in your scenario (and have done before) is you end up driving the weekend car all the time.....
