I’d like to buy my wife a Smart car for Christmas. She’d like an automatic coupe, the 90bhp version, with sat-nav and the nice “premium” interior and the Matt grey body panels.
Via Carwow I’ve seen what looks ideal at £12,500, has anyone any idea if there are better deals to be had?
I wasn’t set on brand new, but every time I find something similar it’s North of £10k, and for so little extra I think it’d be nice for her to have something fresh from the showroom.

Thats a nice idea, I'd love to do the same with my own wife one day but she absolutely hates surprises.
Looking on Autotrader they;re about 10-11k for very nearly new, down to about 7/8 for a 15plate.
Ive heard drivethedeal.com is another place to look when buying new.
Good luck and post a picture of the gift

Have a look out for the lease offers on these.
I leased a White Edition Coupe a couple of years ago for £99 deposit and £99 / month for 2 years. I think the list price on the car was around £12k to £13k. Its currently up for sale after selling via auction for £9k so i assume it made around 7 to £7.5k
