Cazoo share price closed up 58% today.

Does anybody have any idea what is behind that?
They're a fking penny share still worth less than a month ago, big % rises are misleading in the least. Could be down more than the same by the end of the week. If they announced an actual cash sale of enough stock it may have just bumped the balance sheet. From absolute ste to still pretty much absolute ste.

Agree but currently up a further 40% today - with a busines that is pivoting away from selling its own cars and is getting rid of its stock and dealerships.

With that in mind, notwithstanding its penny share status, two substantal rises in two consecutive days suggests sombody must see an upside - somebody must know something.

It was a select list, they didnt send it to everyone and as far as I know all the cars sold.

The 800 they have left are coming this week.
Looks like Carsa got some. Sure this Focus was on my watch list with Cazoo. Still has a Cazoo reg plate on and the photos look like Cazoos.

Sweeping statement, maybe they had a car supermarket that they sold to Cazoo and contractually had to do a short period of time with them before moving on. Knowing what they know about the trade and having a few quid why not go again.

I thought Carsa was set up from the ashes/owners of Imperial Cars that Cazoo swallowed up to get the stock and prep centres? As Carsa was initially based out of the old Imperial Mountsorrel which I assume Cazoo didn’t want or sold back.

Could be wrong though but seem to remember reading something a few years ago.

Cazoo take a monthly payment from my card of £41 to cover my extended warranty £27 and service plan £14 every month. For some reason this Monday they've only taken the £27 warranty part of the payment. Not sure if i can read much into that but I'm wasting my time trying to speak to them until I've got a spare 2 hours to wait on hold. Normally takes them 2 weeks to reply to my emails as well.

They have cleared more cars now and are down to 450, cant go any further before listing dealers cars in the new venture or they will look out of business.

If you do buy, don't give them any actual money, as you might not see it again.

That could be a minor issue as they're no longer offering finance.

I wouldn't. They're sliding ever closer to going pop, they're shedding cars to the trade left right and centre to drag cash in to the business and clinging to the hope that they can survive being an online sales platform to rival Auto Trader. Nothing they sell is unique enough to warrant handing any amount of cash over...

If an external company will agree to go with them. Like I said, they've stopped offering - payment in full only, now.

Looks like it’s over as a car sales entity. All the cars advertised now seemed to be linked to Carsa. Click on one and you’re invited to head over to Carsa to find out more.

Not exactly sure what's going on, but the share price has done extremely well today.
