My sons car was written off recently and he needed a new car today, I have never seen so many s**t cars in my life, I don’t know how these garages keep going, ended up after the day touring garages seeing an advert for an Astra 1.4 sxi on Facebook, went to look at it, not a mark on it, service history, low miles and what seems like a very honest seller, my son well happy now but still cannot believe what absolute c**p is being sold

Is it really that much of a shock when you are looking at £1500 trade cars? The dealers arent working for free, so the cars have their wage built into the cost + lots of other overheads.

For that sort of money, you're always best off buying privately.

I'd never think of going to a dealer for a car that price. You're buying a £750 car with a £750 dealer markup for no good reason at all.
