Lexus LS 430/460 vs. alternatives

Guten morgen,

looking into the possibility of a barge for longer family excursions. Always liked the Lexus LS so primarily looking into the 430 vs. 460 debate.
The 460 looks A LOT better but I have heard that it may not be a swell composed and mannered as the 430 it replaced (NVH, quality of build/finish)

What other alternatives are there for somebody that wants the luxo-yacht experience with minimal service -bill- catastrophe risks.

I bought a 2007 LS460 with 150K on the clock for £6000 2 years ago. Now on 185K miles averaging 27mpg. Superb car. As good as new virtually. Previously had 3 Audi A8's and 2 Jag XJ's. Lexus has been the best car.
