Contract Cars newsletter of a VW lease deal.
The deal is irrelevant (to me) but what interested me was that they had two prices, one for renewing VW customers and one for new customers. This is what they have been doing with Audi deals and the savings have been too crazy to miss so this is a good sign for us VW customers I think, fingers crossed!
Is this a sign for all of the VA Group? That Golf at £204 (amortised) is pretty good value

They were doing this with Audi vehicles for the past two months at least. This is the first instance I've seen for exisiting VW customers so if the trend follows then I'm guessing Seat customers will be next. That Golf at £204 (amortised) is pretty good value
Looking for some advice:
I signed up for the lease of an Audi E-Tron about 4 weeks ago, on 14 weeks delivery.
Deal was through Lease4less. Broker is Lex Autolease.
Got a call today and they are saying the price has gone up significantly. And they will refund my £500 deposit if i am not happy to proceed.
I haven't re-read the contract, but it doesn't feel right they can do this a month in, with the down side of the hard search on my credit file etc?
Reason given is that Audi have retracted their offer to Lex....

Surely you've signed a contract which has passed the cooling off period. Sounds a bit wrong to me.I signed up for the lease of an Audi E-Tron about 4 weeks ago, on 14 weeks delivery.

Check the terms of your contract - worst case they should be doing their upmost to keep your business with a deal on another car? I signed up for the lease of an Audi E-Tron about 4 weeks ago, on 14 weeks delivery.

There must some term(s) they are breaching by doing this surely? Might be worth discussing it with them again and possibly even give Audi Finance a call too.I signed up for the lease of an Audi E-Tron about 4 weeks ago, on 14 weeks delivery.

You can request removal of the search from your history. I believe Lex did this before, when other offer didn't work out. Someone will remember which deal it was and possibly give you the link to the posts. I signed up for the lease of an Audi E-Tron about 4 weeks ago, on 14 weeks delivery.

Already checked, also got their stock list of x50, 280bhp Stelvios which are all MY17. MY18 is what CVL seem to offer which is still cheaper than the cheapest Beechdale Stelvio I believe at 15k miles PA.
Bear in mind the MY17 does not and never will have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. MY18 should be ok?BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe 420i M Sport 5dr (Professional Media)

It's possible that Lex didn't generate the volume required to unlock the pricing from Audi - it was always priced by l4l substantially lower than the RRP.Edited by James-wljp1 on Wednesday 24th April 13:51
I test drove the etron this week and the dealer admitted they've had very little interest of any sort. No real surprise given all the marketplace factors PLUS the pricing problem. I don't even want a LWB Q5, but the choice is err this R&D sinkhole or an A3 etron. That's not really progressive and I might need to do another 2 year cycle in ICE... maybe an A6 diesel barge? Compromise option sigh.
