To be honest I’ve no idea what’s happening with the deposit. I’ve had the car a week and haven’t been charged the initial payment yet. I was told the £150 deposit would come off the initial, but given how badly it all went, I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t get subtracted and I have to fight the broker for it...

I believe you ordered a different car with them in the end, did they not use the same deposit towards that order?
No they didn't. I still paid the total deposit amount to jaguar. 1st choice leasing 's website is down and laurence hasn't replied whatsoever. Looks like we should kiss goodbye to the 150£. Time to make some phone calls.

My Jaguar XE R Sport lease (£315/mnth) (that I picked up from here a couple of years ago) comes to an end in July, really need something a little more child friendly as the boot and rear passenger leg room is pretty poor considering the size of the vehicle. I've been offered an extension by Lex but it's way more than my current rental and I want to hand it back before its service is due.

Really hoping for a nice Volvo S90 R Design Plus / Tiguan / XC40 / saloon BMW/Mercedes or other decent SUV for a comparable price. Running out of time and I don't want to be left without a car when I come to hand it in. Where are the lease deals of yesteryear! weeping

Did you get the SEAT through VWFS? Seen a few suggestions of loyalty discount on Audis so maybe there's similar available on SEAT.

ETA: I see existing customer discount is also mentioned for VW on the previous page.

Usual bait and switch tatics based on recent comments I've seen here.
Fully legit for the first batch of a class deals. Can’t fault them, have done everything when they said they would, great deal, great service. My A class arrives Friday smile

Mountain grey to the chap that was asking about colour!

Initial Rental £2,822.26 inc VAT
23 Months @£235.19 inc VAT per Month

Other variants available too all at Central.

Personally I think advertising 5K PA deals with a 12 month initial payment to make the monthlies look cheap is silly, especially on a car that hasn't been refreshed for a long time (but still a nice car).

C5 Aircross

These look good to me. A bit bigger but look comfortable and good amount of kit.

18 month deals are cheapest but 24 works out at roughly 24.5% against wowcar best quote and 23% against RRP.

Anyone do d better or confirm if it's a decentish deal?

This is now the way of advertising for most of the big brands. Noticed Select when you actually key in the parameters of say 6 months up front, three years and 10k, mis displays the deals available. Not ideal.

Saw this on social media: https://www.simpsonsskoda.co.uk/pch-offers/kodiaq-...

8k miles £299 pm with £2490 deposit works out bang on 25%. Didn't think it was too bad as it's a good trim level. Might request a quote at 5k miles and see how that works out

Hi all
I'm new but my brother suggested I post on here.
Am after a Mercedes C200 or C220 AMG line (with or without premium) convertible.
9 months deposit and 10,000 miles a year, personal customer.
Select cars have it on for £393 pcm and I'm waiting on my local dealership to give me some numbers from them.
Any thoughts or help on numbers would be really appreciated. Thankyou!!!

Applied Leasing supplied my Mercedes at a decent price. They've got C200 AMG Premium Plus on 2 and 3 year deals around £350pcm with 9 months initial.

If you want to go direct to an MB dealer, try the fleet sales department at MB Wolverhampton.

Went on cars2buy, searched for Stelvio 24 months lease and sorted it by lowest average cost a month. This is what I got:

Avg cost per month: £346.79
Central (UK) Vehicle Leasing
Alfa Romeo Stelvio
2.0 Turbo 280 Speciale 5dr Auto
Term: 24 months

Annual Mileage: 15,000

Initial Payment: £939.56 inc. VAT

Admin Fee: £180.00 inc. VAT

Monthly Price (inc. VAT):
£313.19

Cheapest Stelvio I think at the moment! Then I clicked the link to go to the site, that price is nowhere to be seen even after playing around with the dropdown lists. frown
Anyone get anything back from Central on this? Messaged them last night but the price has now gone up again.

Ooh brilliant thanks so much. I'll look at Applied Leasing. . Just had select on the phone offering £420pcm for C200AMG line premium plus with upgraded screens etc and the new "brilliant blue metallic " paint for £403 or £420 pcm with the maintenance package.

Don't forget it's not a Deposit, it's an initial rental.

Called them up yesterday, said they had people call about this before but offered to send me quote for the normal price. Usual bait and switch tactics.

They didn't bother updating the price on cars2buy yesterday, not sure if it has changed now.
