My A4 is up in October and after receiving an extension quote £75pm more than I am currently paying I am now looking elsewhere.
With regards the Santander scheme I take it you need an account with them (not a huge issue to open one, if so).
Their Mazda 6 deal looks quite interesting. Anyone any experience of one?

I am in the same boat. My A4 goes back in October and I have requested an extension quote (awaiting). This will be my second extension. Initial payment was £236 over 2 years 10k miles per annum. First extension payment reduced to £190 over 12 months 12 k miles. Is your lease via Audi/VW finance. After reading your post im not hopeful that they will give me a decent quote. Ive requested two quotes based on 6 and 12 months.

Are those good E-class merc deals all gone?
My S3 is due back in October so I'm ready to get the ball rolling on another order, budget of around £400 pm

I am an independent mortgage financial advisor...Through my experience I would say a mortgage lender prefers a PCP/PCH as it is counted as a secured loan against the car and on your credit file it would say "Mercedes-benz finance for example" whereas if you took out a personal unsecured loan then the mortgage lender would just see it differently. Mortgage lenders are also being more lenient when it comes to PCP/PCH when assessing affordability..not always the case but definitely what i'm seeing with the majority of lenders i use. My best advice would be to sort the house first then get a car because the lender wouldn't know about it but I understand personal circumstances don't allow this. Hope this helps.
Very helpful mate, cheers. Making sure all forms of credit are either shut or minimised pre application and will likely have to sort the car before the mortgage application, dates being as they are. Thanks a lot for heads up though. AA3751 said:
Here’s a challenging one for you experienced deal posters! I’m looking for a short term car lease/hire. Upto a maximum of 6 months. Anyone know any good cheap deals out there or a company who is better for them? Not fussed on type of car. Thanks!

Evezy can work out well in situations such as this, provided an electric car would work for you, and you don't do a huge mileage.https://www.evezy.co.uk/
You should find someone offering you a referral discount code without too much difficulty.

Looking at a Volvo XC60 Momentum they are currently around £402 on a 3 + 35 lease unless anyone seen a better deal.
I going for a drive in one at a Stoneacre Volvo dealer tomorrow, does anyone know if you still get a cooling off period if you sign a lease on the dealers premises?
No you don't. The 14 days applies under the Consumer Contracts Regulations for an off-premises or distance sale.I going for a drive in one at a Stoneacre Volvo dealer tomorrow, does anyone know if you still get a cooling off period if you sign a lease on the dealers premises?
But... you don't therefore have to wait 14 days to get your car either (if it is in stock).

Just spiralised the papaya on the below from Stoke Audi. Initial contact was first thing this morning and several quotes were sent, finance approved and order form completed by lunch time. Top notch service.

OK, own up. Who nabbed the last Volvo V90 Cross country deal @ £294 (1+17) from Santander last night
Hahaha didn’t realise I was in competition! Sounds like they had a sales event so somebody must have bought it outright, hopefully at a massive discount so good for them!Canon_Fodder said:

It's disappointing to be charged the full cost of metallic paint when it will certainly add to the residual value of the car.Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
