Tesla have reduced the price of the Model 3 again, bringing the list price of the basic SR+ to just under £40,000, meaning there's now no luxury car tax on it. Not sure if this will reflect in lease prices, but worth holding on to see if it does.

To those ordering or looking to order Tesla’s, I’m curious to know if you’re generally installing charging points at home or just using ones elsewhere?

Who was that with mate?
Straight through SEAT mate. Was one that was in stock too so only had to wait two weeks or so until I had it.

I wouldn't mind one too if possible, NVC seem to be the cheapest out there for the Cupra but have run out of Magnetic Grey and don't want another black car!
I got a Magentic Grey one two weeks ago. 3+23 @ £274.95 a month, 10k pa. No processing fee or anything.
That’s a cracking deal who’s that with?
IMG Seat have a similar deal but at 8k pa
Isn't theirs over 3 years too?

It's the Evoque 2.0 D150 R-Dynamic 5dr 2WD. How does the pricing compare? This one works out about £7k for the 2 years from LO. What's the lease cost of the P250?

For a £1 a month more it's a no brainer...

Cheers
I am £8700 BUT I need an auto & they are always more.
Cheaper here? What mileage too?

I could show a even cheaper quote with 5K PA but I need 10K.

Yeah hence why I said "what mileage" because you never said what you needed or what the deal you got came with, claiming you have a good deal and not specifiyng the mileage, then picking at someone else because they assumed youre mileage. You are everything that's wrong with todays society haha

I was just planning using a local supercharger or plugging it into the wall at home if desperate. Pointless installing a hardwired charger for a lease imo.

I can never make the maths add up on Tesla’s but it may be of interest to someone else, this came through email earlier:

Tesla Model 3 Standard Plus

£501.72 1+35 8K

It’s with CVL

I never get what they mean by the whole ‘payment after est monthly savings’, sounds a bit of a con as they include some kind of fuel savings and stuff.

Yeah plan to install a 7kW smart charger in combo with an EV energy package allowing for cheap charging at night. Cost to install is about £500.

Yeah I'd ignore that figure. Although obviously you will save significantly on fuel if you are currently driving a petrol or diesel car. Best to figure out how much for your own circumstances.

Not pointless if you plan to stick with EVs going forward.

Yes true, do they not use different kinds of chargers though? Kind of like apple and android.

They quote that figure to ram home to people who may not immediately appreciate that although the purchase / lease price may be higher than they would normally budget for, the total costs can still be similar or less that what they've been used to.

My spreadsheet can be used to figure this out too.
