I've just got a new job and need to find a new car. I've seen loads of offers for Audi and Mercedes and would fancy one of these but I'll be doing a lot of motorway miles and need around 20-25k miles.
Has anybody seen any high mileage offers?
they don't tend to advertise as high miles, you then need to see a deal and get higher mile quotes. Usually advertise at 8-10,000 pa.Has anybody seen any high mileage offers?
I have a 25,000 pa lease on a 520 touring and that was based on a good 10k lease and just quoted up until i hit the mileage sweetspot. Won't bore you with the figures as that was 11 months ago.
also look at the excess miles cost as some quote up to 15,000pa but the excess might be quite low and you can rump it up and keep the cash to 1 side for the end of term settlement.
I added 10k at a little less than it would have cost up front, but half what it would have cost at the end.
Leasing.com has a filter where you can filter for a certain mileage, which I found very useful.

I also do a higher than average mileage, normally around 17k p.a.Has anybody seen any high mileage offers?
In general, find the best deal you can on 8/10k p.a. and ask the broker how much extra an extra, say, 10k p.a. would cost built into the monthly price, and also the excess mileage rate,
18 months ago I took out a 2 year contract at 10k p.a. on an Arteon, as I’d been quoted almost £2k extra on the best 10k deal to take it to 15k, yet the excess mileage charge at 10.8p would cost £1080 to add the same miles - in the event, a year into the contract they increased the total contact mileage to 30000 miles by increasing the monthly price, which worked out at 7.4p per extra mile, plus a £60 admin fee.
If the excess mileage charge is reasonable, signing up for a lower mileage than you need also offers you a bit of flexibility if your circumstances change, for instance I’ve had two 6 week long periods of sickness from work following surgeries in the last 18 months and have done fewer miles than normal due to his.
In general, VAG cars seem to have lower excess mileage charges than most, with the likelihood of being able to renegotiate mid-term. There are some Arteon deals out at the moment which would be worth a look.
Volvo S90/V90 always seem good value, and usually have low excess mileage charges, especially for the first 5000 miles over contracted, you then tend to move up to a higher tier.
I’ve just signed up for a Mercedes E300 coupe, but chose to incorporate the higher mileage up front with that, as it worked out more cheaply than paying 18.8p per mile on an excess basis.

Just received this from Russell at Mercedes Perth (Arnold Clark) relating to the A class deal that we ordered in April. Has anyone else received the same? Can they even no longer honour the terms when we signed an order contract?! Fuming to say the least as current least goes back end of the month and delivery was timed perfectly for this.
Are they charging you more or is it just the delivery date that has moved?Deliveries can slip, but asking you for more money once an order is accepted is a bit naughty.
Just extend your current lease if they are honouring the price.
