01 Oct 2019 on my order confirmation.
What’s to stop the delivery date being pushed back and back? Looks like we’re going to have our new Skoda delivered after our current car goes back. So likely have to rent for a month or so, would the likes of VWFS or the broker normally help out if there are delays?GusMcLean said:

If you already have a vehicle funded by VW/Seat/Audi/Skoda FS then they will let you keep it on as long as you have an order numberJordan210 said:

If anyone with the A250 AMG on order is thinking of cancelling, I would be honoured to take the contract on. Please pm me or quote reply so I can find it easily in the thread.
My current lease ends in September so would fall nicely for me, I think.
A lot of messages to get through!
You can't do that.If he/she cancels then it's cancelled. If you want to get one you try to get one on today's rates etc.My current lease ends in September so would fall nicely for me, I think.

I've just passed the finance appplication for a Golf GTi Performance for a fairly decent deal of 6+23 x 246 over 2 years with 6k per year. I'm about to sign the vehicle order and agency agreement and noticed that it said that distance selling regulations don't apply and I'll be liable for a 947 + VAT fee if I cancel after signing. Can they do this? I would have thought you have 14 days as per the distance selling regulations? I'm not planning to cancel but I may try and have a test drive over the weekend.

They’re right, distance selling regs shouldn’t apply because you’re not buying a product. You’re leasing one, so it’s a different law. Plus, that law was replaced in 2014. If you’re doing it online only they’d have trouble enforcing that though.Chukas said:

For £10 a month more you can go for a 2.0 Diesel or the DSG on the petrol.
Have the issues with the 1.5 now been resolved? If not I would opt for the derv and recover the extra cost at the pump.
Do we know of anywhere else listing the 2020 E Class at decent prices?
