Only on the very basic trim levels. Start looking at the SE Tech or SE L and its not too badly specified

Sounds like my brother is in for a bill when he returns his VWFS supplied Tiguan. He has been using a VW indy. I've just ordered a Merc funded by Hitachi and in the terms all i can see is like you said " needs to be serviced to manufacturers guidelines using genuine parts"
Yep, I spoke with VWFS multiple times and they insist on main dealer servicing. I have also ordered a Merc GLC funded by Hitachi and will be using an indi.

Don’t forget main dealers have price promise or similar and will match like for like quotes from independent garages using genuine parts. I did this with my Volvo which is managed by Lex who insist main dealer servicing I saved £150 just by getting a written quote 👍

Adding full maintenance inc consumables would have been £60 pcm. Instead I added the service pack as an optional extra for £300. As I’ll be doing 20k pa an absolute no brainier. Mainly motorway too so hopefully only two tyres and no discs and pads.

Been reading the thread for a while but never posted. This will be my first lease and have been looking at XC40 and Tiguan deals but nothing has really jumped out. Ideally would be after 36 months and doing 10k. Not too precious about diesel vs petrol. Is there anything else similar you’d consider? I’m not overly sold on the Karoq recently posted.

Thanks in advance.
For the XC40 I'm after R-Design/R-Design Pro trim level and this is the best I can find but at 37% seems excessive.

Automatic with T3 Petrol engine
6+23 at £379.57 plus £234 fees @ 10k miles

https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/leaseshop/...

For the Tiguan again looking at R Line. I get this as around 34% which again seems pretty rubbish value.

Automatic with 1.5 petrol (although seems to be a few people advising steering clear of this)
6+23 at £388.34 with no fees again @ 10k miles

Generally is it best when looking for deals to avoid getting too caught up in specific trims/extras?

Normal etiquette is to do some research yourself, find the best deal you can, then post it here for the community.

New to all this leasing malarky - been looking at deals on the Corolla Touring Sport 2.0 VVT-i Hybrid, spotted one for the Excel with Pan roof, 3+47, 15k miles, £288pm, £198 fee.

Decent deal? All other ones I've see have been £300+ on 3+47 or 6+47 for the design model.

Looking to start around end of September so trying to see what's in budget at the moment.

I ordered an A180 AMG line exec, had an estimated delivery date of 30/07 but they were holding it until early Oct when my current lease goes back. Were you both given an estimated delivery date ?
I'm in exactly the same situation as yourself. I've emailed back asking for the potential new date so I'll update if I get a reply asap. Sometimes things are to good to be true

Golfs look to be about £235 on a 1+47. Lowest I’ve seen.

Spotted the A-Class at £197 on 1+47 though, which feels pretty cheap to me. On 5k mileage though!

https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/mercedes-ben...

EDIT: Apart from my wife's car, which is higher mileage, I've always taken a two year deal to avoid paying for tyres and sometimes even servicing. So personally I'd always avoid a 4/y deal, even if it meant paying a little more for a two year deal.

What is the difference between se tech and se l. I can't seem to find any se technology Skodas for a new lease but there are a ton on the used market.

Skoda have absolutely perfected the ugliest colour known to man which they use as their standard colour. You always need to factor in the full cost of some paint in to any Skoda lease (unless its free).

If you know when your lease is up then you can normally time it pretty well. I might have fked up this time...was holding off way too long for a factory order looking for something decent to come up. Was close to running out of time so thought I’d just pick up a stock car close to my lease being up.

Then the deal on the model 3 came up. 2 1/2 months from order till my current deal is up. Who knows, maybe it’ll happen.

Has anyone leased short term on Drover or Carpe? Just looks so expensive per month, even if it’s only a month or so.

Pretty sure the lease cos give you some leeway too though as they know it’s a problem for people.
I am currently using Drover. It is first month. So far it is all right. There is £149 joining fee as well. However, there was £100 promo code (expired now) when I joined so joining fee was much less for me. You can still use £50 promo code of existing users (email me if you are interested). Thanks
Great, cheers - what's the process? You just pick a car and it turns up on your door? How long are you planning on doing it for? Are the monthlies crazy?
You choose car, monthly miles and delivery date (morning or afternoon slot) and they deliver to you for free if car is within 50 miles of your requested delivery address. They will collect for free as well. You can also collect and drop for free from locations if you prefer so. However, free delivery and collection is only applicable to first car. If you will change your car, they will charge for delivery and collection (i believe it was £1 per mile) or you can collect for free. I have almost brand new Hyundai Ioniq Premium SE £512 per month. I may use it few more months until my lease car is delivered. Hope it helps. Thanks

Been tracking a Cupra Ateca for a while but cheapest I can get it on Leasing.com seems to be around £545ish a month.

It's almost like Seat don't want to see them on the road.

Edit: My terms are 10k for 2 years unmaintained. Whatever up front. I only really care about amortized which is what the £545 is.

They had some cracking prices through June, but needed to be delivered by 30/06. ;__;

Correct, you absolutely need to ignore specs and trims.
To get the best idea you need to keep an open mind - just think of the type of car you need, perhaps max contract length and budget, then work around that and see what comes up.

Also add that desirable cars/specs rarely come up as good deals - VW can sell enough R Line Tiguans without any lease support, so you are unlikely to find deals on such.

In your case, i'd recommend this deal as I almost pulled the trigger on it - Peugeot 3008 GT Line Premium (so pretty much top spec). And its far more interesting than the Tiguan.
