Hi all. Just picked up a Qashqai 1.3 accenta premium on a 9+24 8k miles for £180/month.
Direct with Bristol st motors nissan
Paid an extra £20 for metallic but could have been £160/month if I was happy with red. Good deal I thought. Will keep the good lady happy for a while!

Who are people using for gap insurance please guys?? I had a scaremongering call just after I took delivery trying to relieve me of an extra £25 per month for gap.

The Velar Pink leasing deal is through Total Motion, someone has posted this on a google review and they’ve responded to say they are not part of TM Ltd. I’ve received the finance docs and it says that Pink leasing is a trading name of TM Ltd - clearly trying to hide something there.

The finance funding company is through Arval and they have requested a shed load of financial documents/ evidence, even after the finance had apparently been approved.

Loads of negative reviews and horror stories on trust pilot that they charge you thousands for damage when they send their appointed inspectors Manheim to come and pick up and do the end of lease inspection!

In a dilemma now as the deal is good but don’t want to get bent over when handing it back!

I dont believe they can be handed on. Only those that passed the credit check before it was pulled can get the deal.

I'll take it if you decide against it.

I used ALA as advertised on this site. Cost was c.£100 with excess cover.

There's a debate on here as too wether you need it but having seen a colleague responsible for covering costs, it's £100 well spent for peace of mind.

ALA will price match, so worth doing a few searches and then contacting them if they are more expensive.

Tesla Model 3 offer from Applied Leasing. No idea if it's a good deal but doesn't seem too bad from my rough calculation.

I am looking for a mid sized SUV to replace our current Tiguan R Line lease. Looking closely at Q5's. Best deal i can see is not great tbh:

40TDI Quattro S-Line S-Tronic with Tech Pack

Deposit - £3395
Monthly - £377
8k miles

Has anyone seen anything decent for this size SUV - also considering Land Rover Discovery Sport and F-Pace.

Thanks!
Who is this with?

Pink Leasing was called Total Motion couple of months ago. Just before they offered cheap A-class deals. So nothing suspicious.

Manheim is known to be the worst and most strict company regarding damage at the end of lease. So it's your choice if you want to go through Arval who uses them. Nothing to do with actual broker, they just use different founders for different deals.

I've had 2 cars with Arval (and am on my 3rd), and have had no issue with the returns through Manheim at all (in fact on my most recent return they missed 2 items of damage I was sure I would get charged for). I had a colleague who did have a problem on a Manheim return relating to the return of a Nissan on PCP with Nissan Finance, but the charge got quashed when they complained to Nissan.

Personal preference of course, but given the cost of paint colour for leasing, I find it odd how many are willing to prioritise colour of car over more useful options. £10-30 a month for a particular colour’s a truck load over the course of a lease.

We had a budget for our Karoq and ultimately cam down to Electric Boot or wider choice of colour. Surely little reason to pay so much extra for colour. After all, when you use the car you don’t see the colour.

Hi, new to leasing and new to this forum. Been looking at what appears to be a good deal I've spotted on jetvehiclefinance.co.uk and was wondering if anyone had used them and would recommend them?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the quick response.
Another lease rookie question : Is it normal to pay the initial payment just few days before getting the vehicle delivered?

You dont mention what term you want...?

As you say Q5 pricing is pretty expensive - is the Evoque too small?? Amazes me how the leases for the "premium" Range Rover product are so much cheaper than the Disco Sport..

I paid mine after delivery - I think it varies from provider to provider. (In my experience its mainly 1 - 2 weeks after delivery, but I could be wrong)

Cheers for the reply. Just to be sure we're talking the same company, there is select car leasing and this is select vehicles Ltd that you used in the past?

It's my first time and would just to be sure it's a legit company to deal with for PCH.

Not my intention at all. Just asking around, isn't it wonderful if people in forum sharing and helping others?

I've just done a quick search on Companies House - a Mrs Caroline Louise Hill is listed as Company Director for both Pink Vehicle Leasing Limited and Total Motion Limited, with over 75% and up to 50% shares held respectively. It seems she is joined in the Total Motion venture by (presumably a relation), Mr Simon John Hill. So that puts to bed any lingering doubts.

Now I guess the question is, what is so bad about Total Motion? Anybody here share their experience with them please?
I don't remember seeing any negative comments about Total Motion here. They had good deals on electric BMWs long time ago and as far as I remember, all were delivered at quoted price. Deal was very cheap and there was a lot of happy people on the forum. I have no connection to the company, just reading forum.

Also, a lot of people ordered from them A-Class which was with different funder than Velar.
The only issue I’m aware of with TM was them not notifying of parking penalties, and taking so long to process the charge (2-3 months) that it was impossible to dispute the charge. Despite admitting it was a “system fault” they wouldn’t consider waiving the £25 admin on each claim.
Other than this they are able to offer competitive and sometimes exclusive deals if you Pre-lodge your details with them re any upcoming deals.
