I've had 2 offers for a volvo v90 T4 momentum plus both 1+35 months, 10k miles

1st pure vehicle leasing (through car wow) :
£303 per month plus £250 admin fee
Ice White

2nd tagarts volvo in Glasgow
£349.49
Includes metallic paint and winter pack
However they gone back to see if they can do a better deal

What are your thoughts?

The one issue I have is that I have £4000 on a credit card that I want to clear however they are only offering £3000 for my car.
I'd be inclined to suggest that if you're concerned about a £1K financial shortfall, that perhaps leasing a ~£40K car is not entirely appropriate for you. If for any reason your financial circumstances change during a lease, there is no walk away get out clause, and you will likely be liable for all of, or a significant proportion of the outstanding payments.

How can a brand new applicant get it at that rate if the deal is no longer available?
I will get the broker to transfer my car allocation to the new applicant
.. but when the new applicant applies for the deal it will be on the current rates, not on the 'no longer available' rates. It's YOU who got accepted on the old rates at that time, not the new person who would need to do a new application now at today's rates smile

The stock isn't the issue, the finance is. Your quote will be accepted in your name.

think Mrs 2CV could be tending towards the Skoda Karoq 1.0TSi despite it being a bit underpowered. It is nowhere near as bad as the other competitively priced medium SUV on a lease at the mo - Hyundai Tucson 1.6GDi which despite the name is a 1.6 NA petrol. Some stock of the latter though, whereas the Skoda will probably come with typical factory build lead times.

Anyone gone for either?

Tried WBAC, Tootle, Motorway?

Yes mate, have you got the confirmed delivery date?
Did you get the maintenance pack or will maintain yourself?
I have the registration number, I was going to get the basic maintenance but the 15ppm charge put me off. So, will maintain myself.

I have requested delivery end of October as my current car goes back first week November.

Whilst I can afford the car I don't want to be paying for both a car and a credit card, it makes absolutely no financial sense! If the case may be that no one will be able to offer me enough to clear the credit card, I will walk away and come back in 6 months time or so

Hi, I’ve just returned to the U.K. from overseas and need a car fairly quickly (i.e. the next month to 6 weeks) as we can’t manage with 1 car for much longer than that. Some of the leasing companies are quoting 20 weeks lead time on either an F pace or an A6. Anyone with experience of factory orders of these cars know if these are realistic lead times? Was looking at hiring for a bit during the build but the costs are ridiculous. Thinking that I might have to buy 2nd hand.

Anyone had an ‘in stock’ lease with any idea on how quickly they turn them around.

Any good deals on electric vehicles (tbh am not too worried about what it is, just want it to be good value - the 2% BIK makes it a good option)?

I posted an I-Pace deal that worked out around 24% a few pages back.

We have a 1.5 Karoq so can't really compare but what a brilliant car in SE Tech.
I would consider a Grandland X 1.2 SE too, they were £170 amortised recently. Or a 1.3 QQ at around £200.

I'm checking with the broker. Presumably the finance company would have a certain allocation for a particular period so I'm hoping they will be able to reallocate this to someone else.

Just ordered my Audi through them so far so good.
Cheers for sharing your experience. Are you expecting delivery in September?
Yeah expecting September delivery.
Did you get a black edition from them as their website only suggests s-line stock?
Yeah, they went quick!
I called up after my message earlier and yep, confirmed out of stock. Was offered a competitive quote on a S-line model with a few upgrades but wasn’t keen on that trim.

Facelift A4 is be advertised by Stable Lease so hopefully these will start filtering through come Q4, but not expecting any offers like what we’ve just had! mad
Thank god i bailed on it too before signing the order form. My spider senses were tingling with that one as everywhere else I checked had none.
What's the issue?

I've a Black edition A4 40 ordered with them.

Right, so I had my Leon Cupra delivered and ordered at £293 pm on a 6+23, 10k miles pa

Dealer offered £1k in cheque to bring the quote down to £256 equiv pm however the cheque hasn’t arrived and I’m on day 11/14 within the cooling off period.

I don’t want to cancel my Cupra however without the cheque I will be paying £8.4k over two year ago instead of £7.4k which I was promised!

This was through an actual seat dealer. Rang them and they’re adamant I’ll get it. But I worry if I don’t within next few days then I’m stuck with this contract!

What shall I do?
Ask them to confirm in writing that they will be sending you the cheque.

Good stuff then that all sorted for your swift transition between 2 cars. I am yet to return my documents to Audi.

Had a manual Tucson Last week, it was very slow and had terrible handling. Was given an auto one the other day which was much quicker but still woeful handling. For cheap SUV the peugeot 3008 is much better all round or better still the Suzuki vitara drives much nicer and is probably cheaper to lease.
