This was Pink (who appears don't have a great rep?) found via search on leasing.com.

Select and CVL have some reasonable deals such as https://centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/Audi_Q5-leas...

But that is still @28% so not great!
Pink great for me and my A class deal and for many others on here too.

think Mrs 2CV could be tending towards the Skoda Karoq 1.0TSi despite it being a bit underpowered. It is nowhere near as bad as the other competitively priced medium SUV on a lease at the mo - Hyundai Tucson 1.6GDi which despite the name is a 1.6 NA petrol. Some stock of the latter though, whereas the Skoda will probably come with typical factory build lead times.

Anyone gone for either?
Had a manual Tucson Last week, it was very slow and had terrible handling. Was given an auto one the other day which was much quicker but still woeful handling. For cheap SUV the peugeot 3008 is much better all round or better still the Suzuki vitara drives much nicer and is probably cheaper to lease.
If youre looking at the Vitara dont forget the very similar S-Cross - slightly bigger but less tall

We have a Tucson and whilst I agree it’s no sharp cornering coupe for the Mrs who couldn’t give two hoots about handling its perfect

It’s also a nice comfortable place to be and the tech especially the sat nav is great. Considerably better than my brand new A class with mbux despite her Tucson being nearly four years old now!

Highly recommend.

Also if there’s any ‘cheap’ 3008 deals around I’d love one for her next car, sadly I’ve never seen them anywhere near the Tucson prices (Tucson from £190 1+36 recently. On 10k Miles

Saw this advertised on Facebook a few hours ago, looks good on first impressions

VW eGolf - £300pm on 3+35, 10k pa

Tis a three year lease, but the two year cost on this deal works out at 25% - Nearest comparable deal on leasing.com is £338pm at the moment.

I'd be inclined to suggest that if you're concerned about a £1K financial shortfall, that perhaps leasing a ~£40K car is not entirely appropriate for you. If for any reason your financial circumstances change during a lease, there is no walk away get out clause, and you will likely be liable for all of, or a significant proportion of the outstanding payments.
Whilst I can afford the car I don't want to be paying for both a car and a credit card, it makes absolutely no financial sense! If the case may be that no one will be able to offer me enough to clear the credit card, I will walk away and come back in 6 months time or so
Oh dear. If it's actually coming down to a £100 a month quandary then you may struggle with the credit checks. Never mind servicing, tyres etc. Have you no savings? I do sincerely hope that you're not renting or living with parents and looking to lease like pistonheader 'culpz' before getting a property under your belt..... Perhaps PCP would be a better option as you'll at least have the GFV. I jest. Best of luck anyway, and enjoy your vulva if you ever get into it.

Ok thanks for your wisdom. Unlike the initial advice, yours is more forked. If you have nothing constructive to add then ps off smile

Any good deals on electric vehicles (tbh am not too worried about what it is, just want it to be good value - the 2% BIK makes it a good option)?
Good news for you... it's not 2% anymore, they changed the 2% rate (Apr 2020) to 0% for 2020-2021 then 1% from 2021-2022.

Perhaps so. I was however just entertaining the idea that someone who is considering renting a £40K car without the means to settle a £1K bill may (perhaps) be taking on more than they can handle.

I'm checking with the broker. Presumably the finance company would have a certain allocation for a particular period so I'm hoping they will be able to reallocate this to someone else.
But the quote will have expired and is approved in your name. Any changes will recalc at the new rate.

Smile for a 2.0 Audi A4, sorry but no point me making suggestions if that car will make you smile.

ETA; sorry not the place to discuss personal car preferences.

Some EV offers here

Ipace?
The Corolla is trying to take the hybrid market
Its 76g CO is just above the 75gCO threshold for zero tax which the bigger Prius gets
It wont matter for leasing as tax is included and still lower than other hybrids

That Audi e-tron deal is for limited companies only - not individuals, sole traders or partnerships.

Makes great sense as a company car though - 0% BIK from April next year, 1% the year after and 2% the year after that, and no tax on petrol/diesel to pay either!
