Hi all

Looking for a reasonable sized estate with an engine suitable for towing for my first lease and am going for this, decent enough deal?

Skoda Octavia Estate SE Technology 2.0TDI manual
1+35 at £229.57 for 10k with a £298 processing fee
Yup seems good. £5700 over two years (if my maths is correct) actually seems very good!

I'd be inclined to suggest that if you're concerned about a £1K financial shortfall, that perhaps leasing a ~£40K car is not entirely appropriate for you. If for any reason your financial circumstances change during a lease, there is no walk away get out clause, and you will likely be liable for all of, or a significant proportion of the outstanding payments.
Whilst I can afford the car I don't want to be paying for both a car and a credit card, it makes absolutely no financial sense! If the case may be that no one will be able to offer me enough to clear the credit card, I will walk away and come back in 6 months time or so
your current car is worth what it is worth, regardless of what you were hoping it was worth. If you're in a position where you have accrued £5k of debt that you needed to sell a car to pay off, then maybe you don't have as much disposable income as you might sensibly need to be considering expenditure, and more importantly the long term commitment of leasing a new car. You need to really consider what 'financial sense' means, in the wider context. Sorry if you take umbridge to this but you did put the info on here publicly so people will give their views.

Just ordered my Audi through them so far so good.
Cheers for sharing your experience. Are you expecting delivery in September?
Yeah expecting September delivery.
Did you get a black edition from them as their website only suggests s-line stock?
Yeah, they went quick!
I called up after my message earlier and yep, confirmed out of stock. Was offered a competitive quote on a S-line model with a few upgrades but wasn’t keen on that trim.

Facelift A4 is be advertised by Stable Lease so hopefully these will start filtering through come Q4, but not expecting any offers like what we’ve just had! mad
Thank god i bailed on it too before signing the order form. My spider senses were tingling with that one as everywhere else I checked had none.
What's the issue?

I've a Black edition A4 40 ordered with them.
I have also come to terms that this is not the facelift model, however the deal is still good and the only other car that was reasonable was the arteon.

think Mrs 2CV could be tending towards the Skoda Karoq 1.0TSi despite it being a bit underpowered. It is nowhere near as bad as the other competitively priced medium SUV on a lease at the mo - Hyundai Tucson 1.6GDi which despite the name is a 1.6 NA petrol. Some stock of the latter though, whereas the Skoda will probably come with typical factory build lead times.

Anyone gone for either?
Saw this - any good? It's the turbocharged version.

Think I'm going to bite on this. My mate has the Golf R and rates it but the current prices are a lot higher than this and I want 4wd and estate.

Weirdly most other sites I checked are a lot higher but I shall await the written quote, as a bonus they have a couple in stock too. thanks

Maths is wrong, it says 1+35 so not sure where your two years comes from.

Math is coming from simple calculation of average cost per year and two years came to certain amount.

36 * £229.57 + £298 = 8562.52. 2/3 = £5708.346666666667

Pretty much the same price I got from them a year ago (car delivered in December) so don't see why it wouldn't be genuine.

Get a quote for maintenance as well, I went for it as the cost over three years was barely more than one set of tyres and I think I'll do at least 2 sets plus services.

Hi All,

I'm new to the whole car leasing game and wanted to know if my calculations for the three deals above are correct and your views on the deals?

Many thanks

Yeah they've just come back and it is correct. However I've been reading some horrifying results from real world MPG studies and 25-28mpg really puts me off. the problem we have is 30 miles daily commute in traffic but then long, regular trips off 200-400 miles (every 3 weeks we drive 210 miles on a Saturday).

Hello!

I am new around here so please be kind. I currently own a BMW 3 series 16 plate which has been valued at £15k+ for part-exchange by BMW. Now I have £11k to pay off the personal credit for it. The car being out of warranty from May, I start to worry about what might break. I spent money only on servicing and tyres, so basically consumable and it comes to £1,200-1,500 a year. Now I changed the break pads which were £360.

I am thinking of selling it and getting a 24 months lease as I will have to worry only about maintenance (maybe twice).

Will I be better off going for this option if I find a good deal for a 3series or did I miss to consider some other things?

Regards,
Florin

I have the same model on a 67 plate and it only has the 6 speed dsg box, whereas yours will have the 7 speed.

When I am on a motorway run I get 37 to the gallon, and never worse than 32. You would have to be caning it all the time to hit figures of 25. Auto box changes up early unless you are in Sport mode.

Where else are you going to get something that fits the whole family, is that fast and for a decent price.

Take your numbers and work out the total amount for 36 months. Divide by 3, times by 2. You get £5700 as the equivalent price for 2 years. This makes it easier to compare with other deals on here which are 2 years.

maybe i am missing something but you don't pay the same total for a 2 year contract as you do for a 3 year contract on the same car... 3rd year depreciation is v different to 1st and 2nd years, and also some deals are incentivised only for certain contract lengths.

Hi guys,

Go easy on me, I'm new to leasing and thinking of leasing a Stelvio Nero 200.

Deal on the table is;

3+35 £399 per month.
8k mile p/a
RRP £41,445

I thought the deal was pretty good, what's your thoughts?

Cheers in advance!

It's just for comparison mate. To assess the "value" of the deal.
