I think I'm about 24 hours away from ordering the same from them. Did you go for the Lux?
Yeah, I got in on the January deal for the Lux at around £270pm, 3+23/10k. There's nothing about which can touch it for speed for the money at the moment I don't think. I was originally after a Hyundai i30N-Performance but the leases were £370+.

No call as yet for me. I had an estimated delivery to the dealer of the 9th April last time I checked. Mine is a lux if that makes any difference??
Mine's a Lux too, date into dealer was yesterday and delivery was running about two weeks after that. Would have collected it like Tom above but the dealer's in Leeds and I'm on the south coast....

I have just ordered FTK a VW passat GT 1.5 petrol with Dsg for £895 initial and £255 FOR 23 months with15k miles a year. Good deal I thought also considering I can delay delivery until December time. I dealt with Dominic Betteridge from Martin's VW Basingstoke and he has been excellent so far.

Thanks for the info. I'll not get too excited just yet then. could be a few weeks away.

I'm in East Anglia so will have to await a delivery slot. Bit of a slog to Leeds!

Ok guys. Been following for a little while and really interested in snagging a deal. What sites should I be checking as leasing.com has presented a handful of bait and switches and I'm already getting annoyed! Would like a few daily spam mails then I can jump on something "live".

Need something mid June

Big enough for two small kids and associated junk

Prefer "premium" with decent spec

Not looking to pay for options ideally but don't mid paying for higher trim levels

8k a year, 10k max

Don't mind lease term. I am moving back from the US in June so maybe 18-36 months

Edit: A6 Avant black edition, CLS shooting brake (obviously no longer in production), volvo V60 type of thing

Looks a great deal for Phev. On centrals website it says "ELIGIBILITY NEEDED" so I assume this is one of BMW's special deals for company car drivers

Ah, looks like I missed a great deal there. It's only now that I'm in the market for a new car.

Do you know what the excess mileage charge rate is on that contact?

Mine is a lux too. For what you get in the lux it was worth £10 or so a month to me. Dealer is in York even though the registration is handled by Skoda in Leeds.

Excess is dear but building it in is reasonable. Mine is the same deal different terms, so with no initial it was 1+23 £296 on 10kpa or 1+23 £335 15kpa, which is what I took.

I’ve just ordered an A250 AMG Line through Perth Mercedes.

I know I shouldn’t have but I added the premium pack that includes the 2 x 10” screens, heated seats, parking assist, upgraded stereo etc.

35 + 6
8k
£278 pm
Solid colour - metallic adds about £13 pm but I was happy with white.

Standard car with Metallic worked out at £268 so my man maths tells me the PP cost a tenner a month !
That is a really good deal in fairness! I might ask him what mine would be for a premium on mine. Not that I need all those gadgets haha. I’d quite like heated windscreens this time around but not sure if that’s already included in the AMG Line.

Morning All,

I mentioned before I had a GLA on order which got pushed back so I went for something else. I asked the other day if I could get the GLA order transferred into my fathers name as he wants to take on that deal but their response was "keep it in your name, makes no difference to us". I went back saying that isn't ideal, I don't want 2 leases against my name as I may be looking to get a mortgage soon and I don't want that to affect it. Below is his response - sounds like sales BS to me but wanted to see what you guys thought.

'Our personal contract hire offers are leased to you by our own leasing company Arnold Clark vehicle management and is not going through a finance company.
Therefore, there is no credit search of you at our end, the lease does not appear on your credit file and also does not affect your ability to obtain credit in the future and will also not be visible to a mortgage company on your credit file.'

My understanding was that the lease amount would be against my name so lets say 7k for my lease and then another 7k for this lease so effectively 14k in total - is that correct?
It will be against your affordability, e.g. You have other debts that reduce your ability to pay for a mortgage which likely will impact maximum mortgage a lender will provide.

Indeed. I believe they will deduct your monthly payments from your monthly income to decide affordability. I don't think they are as interested in the total amount of credit (e.g. £7000 over 2 years or £14,000 over 4 years would be seen the same).

Thanks both - my thoughts exactly but just wanted to confirm. Hate how salesmen will tell you anything to get a sale!

Abarth 124 Lease deals.

Bit of a long shot here...but I'm just trying to check if I'm going crazy or not. I am convinced that last night there were some 124 deals on leasing.com for £199 per month and 3 months initial. I was considering this overnight (to replace the existing 124 I have) and the prices seem to have gone up substantially. Did anyone else note those prices by any chance?

Anyone tried ringing Audi Financial Services about the A4 and A6 deals that Lester1967 mentioned?

I just called them and they had no idea what I was talking about!
Perhaps try your local dealer?

You have to call and check what's in stock. If you go back to previous thread, last couple of pages, you will find more info. Cars are with extra options and paid paint. Don't count on basic spec car being available at advertised price.

Read from page 490 onwards, you will find my previous post on Abarth 124 and couple more people's posts https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

And BTW, 10-12 days for delivery of car to dealer turned now into 3 weeks. I was told that the earliest the car will be at dealership, will be on 08/04. I assume, they will still register it before end of March and I possibly lose one week of my lease. That's what Audi did to me once, registered the car at the end of the month instead of day of delivery and my contract was running from day of registration.

Has anyone bought their car at the end of VWFS lease?
No, but I've had two buy quotes on two different VWFS leases from BCA. One was competitively priced and tempting, the other was noncompetitive. Went with neither in the end but I was of the impression the BCA buy price quoted was based on the mileage at the time and that any excess mileage only comes into play when returning the car to back VWFS.
