Hi, Need some advice if this is a good deal or average?

It works out about 27% but then if that's the car you want and you can afford those monthly payments and you are happy with that deal then yes it's good. Most folk would say it's a pretty average lease that you can get anytime but who cares about them if it's what you want.

For me? No the car has too many compromises and is a one trick pony, but then it isn't for me

Looks a fantastic deal to me and I'm trying to get it done but worried about the car allowance thing. Have enquired on PCH basis and been told it just needs to be a statement on company headed paper saying you do indeed have a company car allowance. It was specifically mentioned that it is not checked and there is no comeback on me or my company... basically I can make it up!

I really want to do this but still a little worried. Why the need for all this? ...and what would I really be saying if I made a false statement about company car allowance? Don't want to flout any tax laws/morals. Anybody able to shed any light on this please?
Does seem strange. I was just given the same story. I'm given a car allowance, it's just called a salary!

My advice is if you can afford and its drink habit then go for it as that is one of the best drivers cars money can buy at any price

What does everyone think of these 218d coupe m sports that are going about? £6944 for 23+1 makes it about 22% of the RRP

https://leasing.com/car-leasing/bmw/2-series/diese...

Thinking to go through leaseshop, anyone dealt with them?
I've just signed for one of these but with 'embrace' who included metallic for pretty much the same price.

Has anyone seen any good E Class Cabroilet deals recently? There were some around a few months ago - but looking on leasing.com it seems that they have shot up in price - unless I am missing something!

To be fair that's the best engine, 4wd and 2nd highest spec version, lower spec, 2wd ones are a fair bit cheaper.
Its the perfect car for us though, 7 seats, DSG, Active Cruise, decent engine, massive boot and 4wd (need that as we have a steep drive that's a nightmare in a Scottish winter). Cheaper than all the other alternatives Tiguan Allspace, Kodiac, Disco etc.

Exactly my thoughts too. I can't see what the difference is. Think I will therefore make the statement that car allowance is included in my salary.

For reference, I found this when googling:

I’ve been looking for something similar, there were good deals on the Kodiaq earlier in the year with simpsons Skoda. Still looking.

Can someone please confirm that I was not the only person to end up with this deal on the Velar HSE from Pink Car Leasing?
I've apparently got an allocation as well. The paperwork should be sorted this week. I have had to escalate it directly via Arval given they were taking too long approving my application and were requesting additional documents. I'm an existing Arval customer so spoke directly with their broking team who have now confirmed that this has been approved. Given my experiences with Arval I'll believe it when the car is on my drive ! I think Arval realised quite late in the deal that the residuals don't make much sense (hence why this is such a great deal in the first place) and are looking for excuses to reject applications.

Unfortunately didn't have a choice on the colour as Arval have only accepted a handful of cars on their system and this was one of the previously rejected orders (failed credit check). Have been allocated Firenze Red D180 R Dynamic HSE with upgraded alloys and tinted windows.
Sounds good!
Lucky for you there was a over extended muppet who binges on credit to take the fall and give you a spot.
His / her embarrassment is your gain!

Better that than someone appears in your house no?
If somebody wants it doesn't matter if its keyless or got a wheel lock on. For me I would prefer it be taken without 'asking' me for the keys at 3am

There are no good deals around at the moment. The best deals a few months ago were with Car Lease Special Offers (Wessex), and I recall they were as cheap as £350 on a 1+23 for 5k p.a.

You could potentially contact them and ask to be contacted should anyone cancel their order - this happens occasionally.

And another here.
Indus Silver for me.

The financial approvals process was extremely slow.

Vehicle purchase order has been confirmed.

Have you received the online finance docs from Arval to sign?

All my finance documents came fro Pink Car Leasing, I rang Arval and they gave me my account number, so I know everything is proceeding. Not sure why I would get more documents to sign?

Ok. I got another car funded by Arval a couple of months ago, the finance docs came directly via Arval (broker2 team) to sign hence I was wondering. I suppose the Velars are being done differently. I’ve now received my order docs so finance docs should be next.

Is anyone able to provide me the details of the Velar deals that you managed to get? I'm looking at the moment for either the P250 S/SE or the P300 S/SE ideally R Dynamic as well but the prices seem to be sky high again.

I'm favouring an A6 Avant at the moment unless I can get a good deal on a Velar.

  • New Member - Thank you to all those who continue to share these amazing deals ***
I received Confirmation of order - Eiger Grey HSE R-Dynamic, Privacy Glass and 21" alloys.

I wouldn't call them upgraded alloys, as they are free to change on the online configurator. I think I would have preferred the standard satin dark grey wheels tbh.

I'm kicking myself for not getting the maintenance pack. It was only an additional 10pm with 100 upfront. Would have broke even with a tyre change. Unfortunately I requested this after the finance was approved and in order to add it, they would have to run through the finance again and ultimately lose the deal.

Hoping for an end of September delivery.
Thanks, what was your deal if you don't mind me asking including mileage?
Apologies. Replying was locked out for a while for new members.

Deal was:
Velar HSE R-Dynamic D180
Metallic Paint
Privacy Glass

9/23 8k miles
£374/m

Pinkleasing were fantastic to work with, highly recommended.

Some cheap deals on leasing.com for Jaguar XF Sportbrakes, in high Portfolio spec. https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/lease-cars... They only seem to have uploaded prices for 5k p.a. however.
