Picked up my S60 R Design Edition earlier this week on a 6+23 at circa £260pm

I would strongly recommend one for a daily on first impressions, its not as fun to drive as a BMW 3 Series but it's loaded with kit and very relaxing to drive.

Also I think it's a good looking car inside and out and I have not seen another one on the road yet!

Never thought I’d say this, but good looking Volvo!
Thanks, one more pic below

I am glad I went for the Red now it is a lovely colour in the flesh and far less boring than the Black/Grey I normally go for!

All these keyless thefts.. scumbags. Who would have thought the trusted and retro crooklock would have re-emerged as a vital crime fighting tool.
Autowatch Ghost and a steering lock to put them off a bit!

Phoned the Volvo dealership to check service cost, first service £275, second service £486.

Apparently they changed the spark plugs and air filter on the second service.

Hmmm......

I wanted my S90 in red but they'd stopped doing it when I ordered in 2017! Looks lovely.

V nice!

Who was that deal through?
Did you take the service pack?
I went through my local dealer in Chester

I had an online offer and they matched it, I think it was on stock cars as this was a Launch edition and had 19", Harmon Kardon etc. which the normal R-Design cars do not have. They may still be a few around if you ring round.

I didn't take the service pack.
Tried a few up here in Scotland but the were all taking the piss with their quotes.

Not usually a fan of red but that’s nice!

Still think a few well placed booby trapped cars would fix it.

Does this qualify as a valid service under the terms of the lease?

The service was with the official Volvo garage I got the car from! They quoted around £300 for first service, seemed steep! A friend said to try that secret service thing which will give local quotes, mine turned out to be from Volvo, I called and spoke to the same guy I'd booked my service with and he said no problem at all - rebooked for about £200 less. Worth a go!

Thanks for the tip-off. I've used two other dealerships in the same chain but they don't appear on that site, must be a Swindon only initiative. Worth the trip over there to save £200 though!

Did you get one sorted? I got a black one all confirmed earlier and I think they only had white left.
Yes'ir...exciting times. Was starting to stress about temp options to fill the gap so winner winner.

Totally! Not sure if they were still Johnsons or had changed to Waylands at that time. Did a good lease deal on the S90 though, R-Design D4 in metallic (not standard) black for around £7900 total over 2 years @ 10k.

I guess I need to book another service soon as the car goes back in late December, gonna need tyres and to get a couple of minor scuffs touched up too I think... This is always the bad part of leasing! Haven't found anything to replace it yet, gonna have to keep an eye out for stock deals in November I guess.

Don't think there's ever been a good deal on the 190 Tiggy. 2 years ago the 150 went fairly cheap but I just can't live with anything less than 190.

The 335bhp Touareg TSi is the same price as the 231bhp diesel if that’s of any interest?

Just as I thought unfortunately
I also like the look of the 240 biturbo Tiguan but again not deals that I can see
Gonna have to be patient me thinks

Cheers Gareth
Buts its all about the torque (for me anyway) when towing
I think the petrol version will get well down in the mpg stakes too

2020 (facelifted) Jaguar XE 2.0 Petrol 250hp Auto R-Dynamic S

https://www.v4b.co.uk/car-leasing/jaguar/xe_saloon...

Absolute steal of a price. There are 2 left in stock so I believe, only in red.

I almost FTK this morning but I'd only really settle for the SE or HSE, the alloys on the S aren't that great either, but everything else about it is a bargain.
