Just got a CH quote for the new Mini E (III) and it was, to the least, ridiculous

RRP £30,400
Deposit £4k
47 payments of £399

So total paid over four years is £23k, or 75% of the RRP, or an average of £474 a month, and no get-out that you see with PCP. How the hell do they expect to sign any of those up? Mental,

The best approach is to search broker sites and comparison sites like leasing.com / whatcar / carwow / cars2buy etc. to see what cars are currently being supported for good value deals.

Searching out deals for a specific car rarely results in amazing deals unless you're lucky.

Here's a decent(ish) mini deal for a cooper S (Chili & Nav+) for example:

https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/zenauto-li...

£1,800 up front, £189 per month. Inc VAT for a 24 month deal.

Good Afternoon,

Please see below prices for the 430i and 440i Gran Coupe.

Based on 8000 MPA over 24 months with £1000 Deposit on PCH

430i M Sport Gran Coupe £345.18

440i M Sport Gran Coupe £444.73

Lizzie Hart at Dick Lovett will be happy to help
Quite a big jump then from the 420i at £269. Shame.
Such disappointing figures. Think I'll keep looking.

Saw this on Facebook, not sure if it’s genuine, the guy appears to be a sales exec at Dick Lovett here in Bristol. Not currently looking for a smaller car (need to replace the V90 in March) but maybe of interest to others. Deal doesn’t seem to be too bad considering what else is around at moment
Has anyone managed to get a legit quote yet? I havent had a reply.

Ok I know this is a crystal ball question but I don't really need a new car right now but the BMW 4 Series GC deal works out as 19% of RRP (albeit on 8k miles p/a) and I am very tempted.

With the new BMW 4 Series to be announced this year and then rumoured to be available early next year I don't know whether to hold off for possibly even better deals on this version or bite now?

What do people think?

This deal is here and live, who knows what will come up in the future, so many people miss decent deals waiting....

I get that, I guess my question is, is it reasonable to expect to see really good deals on cars or ‘run-out models’ that are coming to the end of their cycle?

Most really good deals are usually on the old outgoing model, not the new version.I am sure there are a few exceptions but,.......do you want to take the chance ?

Reckon much will come out on the 3 series touring soon? Looks like it’s being replaced shortly.

Really want to go for the 4 series deal but with 18 months still to go on a Cupra and the V90 going back in March (need an estate for dogs) can’t really justify going for this, even using man maths 🤷🏼‍♂️

I used to have a 3 series.

On a 8k p.a. deal you are unlikely to need tyres, I got over 20000 miles out of mine. The first service on these is 2 years or typically 20000 miles, although the car will tell you when it needs doing, my service indicator starting counting down when I’d done about 18500 miles.

The first service was only around £260, and that should be all you’d need over the first two years,

Just placed an order for a white 4 series GC 420i Auto.

Added Apple CarPlay for £245 as I have it on my A4 and couldn’t be without it.

Anyway I’ve signed up for £799 upfront and then 23 months at £301. That’s for 10,000 miles per annum.

Works out as £320 flatlined. Delighted with that for a auto 4 series GC.
