As said, Tesla (Model X fits more) or a Discovery.

If you get something old you won’t have to keep changing.

Can it stick out or would that been seen as a problem by clients

How many people at once

Lots of luggage ?

Need more info
Yes it can stick out, 1-2 passangers max besides the driver, no luggage.
Classy elegance and chic.
It will do very low milage, so old is ok

A E class Mercedes surely? The single most classless car this side of a golf GTI, are you a taxi driver? are you a rep? Are you a drug dealer? Are you a retired man in your 60s? NO ONE KNOWS! The E class is all things to all men.

Clientele is mostly men, out of country and they leave quite a bit of money. They come from all walks of life and most have saved a long time for the service.
I do not want something over the top posh, as I do not want to produce feelings of “ all this over the top luxury is with my money”. It needs to be classy but understated and have some coolness factor to it. A lot of people regard huge SUV’s as “too much”.
The V Klasse or T6 are reasonable options, they just lack the classy part.
Maybe a mid to large Volvo SUV or estate, perhaps a hybrid. If you can find one that is roomy but not too big, that may suit. To most people they look a bit classy, but not flashy, and to non-motorists they may be difficult to put a price to.

Panamera. There isn't much better if you want to look the part but be different from the S Class/Vito/Range Rover crowd.

Hybrid ones ticks the Eco boxes, they're huge in the back so ever 6ft 8 Dutchmen fit in the back of our one fine and comfortably. There is loads of room for luggage and they're bomb proof.

I think being ‘bomb-proof’ would be a whole new specification added!

The old XC90 was classless, new one is more flashy...

If old then prefferably something before the whole “screen” craze that makes interiors look very outdated very fast.
A nice Jag, a W126, Citroen CX on the classic sedan front.
The new XC90 or Range Rober on the SUV side of the discussion.
Lexus LS, Audi A8, Citroen C6, Skoda Octavia in the modern sedan category.

Am I missing something?
Ideally it should also hold value faily well, maybe even go up.

I like the oddball so would say Levante, but I think you are really looking at an XC90

I think someone already mentioned the Volvo S90? Upmarket appearance but the Volvo badge stops it being ostentatious. Same for the Lexus LS.

The ride on the rear of a car is usually a little firmer than in the front, so it could be worth looking at cars with rear air suspension?

Mercedes GLE.

Classy, not too 'look at me' and it's a Mercedes.

Has to be an Audi S8 surely?Because Ronin...

Not "in your face" like an RS6, basically same 500+BHP engine and a shed load cheaper. £30K gets a decent 2015 car.

FFRR is a good shout, too.

Tesla will be too much like a taxi.

Back with a semi-serious response - I see you’re in CH, so lhd I presume?

These guys are near my current hotel, I occasionally go past of an evening & invariably stop for a quick look. If you want a good CX, they’ve always got a few.

If you want eclectic, (and if you can find one), for 3 people including driver, no luggage, a Matra Bagheera or Murena? Definitely would be remembered!

I think Prinny hit the nail on the head - the nicest Citroen CX you can afford. Or how about a DS or SM if your budget is bigger?

+1 to this.

Anonymous yet different looks, super-wafty but (IIRC) 4WD for winter, loads of space.

Bonus points for the W12 version - non-car-geeks will just think it's a smooth engine in a generous body, but car geeks will think it's interesting.
