Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 8)

Also, with the Scala deal it is apparently based on a dealer contribution so I will be sent this contribution amount by the supplying dealer and then this amount plus the agreed upfront cost will be taken with my initial rental.
On previous leases I have never done this. Is this a usual thing brokers/supplying dealers may do?
I did with my previous lease - think it's relatively common! On previous leases I have never done this. Is this a usual thing brokers/supplying dealers may do?

What spec did you order? They've ceased production of the 'standard' model and the range now starts with the Premium. I'm trying to get clarity on how this will be treated - has your broker (who is yours with) made any reference to this?
Mine was complete standard without any extras. You're right in saying it starts with Premium as minimum.. My broker (nevadirect), are in the process of negotiating with Mercedes to get us all into the Premium package at the same cost but I dont know how this will happen. Who is your broker and what are they saying about this issue? Edited by Topbalcblue on Monday 9th December 13:56
Wife crashed her lease car on Fri, not her fault, whole front end of her Fiat 500 is a mess.
Only 2 months to go on the lease (mid Feb) and we were planning on handing it back a month early as i've ordered her a new one which is due mid Jan.
Insurer thinks its repairable (based on a few pics), so it's off to a garage today, I was hoping for a write off, by the time its fixed, it will pretty much be time to hand it back, i'd rather not bother, especially if the BVRLA inspection starts to find fault with the repair work.
Anyone think it would be possible for the inspection to be done at the repair garage and then just go straight back from there?
Thanks
Brighty

Hello guys,
I’m about to FTK to lease a 19 reg BMW M240i and have been quoted £36p/m for servicing and maintenance which includes oil changes and tyre changes. This equates to £1,296 over three years. The car was registered in July 2019 with only delivery miles on the clock. I’ll be expecting to do c.6k miles per year.
Does anyone have an opinion on whether this is good value?
Cheers.

I assume you will need one service and won’t need tyres (unless you suffer tyre damage). So £800 seems excessive, and some. I had my Seat Leon like this. The dealer did free met paint and 3 months payments, so transferred to me 1/2 the initial deposit before it was first due, so I had the money already. On previous leases I have never done this. Is this a usual thing brokers/supplying dealers may do?

Not worth it, in my opinion, due to the mileage you're planning on doing. Even if you were doing big miles I'd avoid such schemes.I’m about to FTK to lease a 19 reg BMW M240i and have been quoted £36p/m for servicing and maintenance which includes oil changes and tyre changes. My XF is due to go back next month and I am trying to find something to roll around in for 12 months before I buy a V8 powered toy- any one know a company that specialises in the shorter term leases?
Best I’ve been able to come up with at the moment is an NHS only i3 deal- £1k down, £299 a month for 12 months but they are factory orders so not available til March. I have asked them to check if they have any cancelled orders but it would be good to have some options!

So been waiting for my Mercedes A Class A250 since end of June.
Reached out to Mercedes who are honestly as useful as a sack of s**t. Sorry, that's degrading to the sack of s**t.
Mercedes couldn't tell me where my car is or when it would get delivered. Said they could only get updates from Mercedes Perth. What is the point of them if they have no power to check?
Reached out to Mercedes Perth who just pointed me the other direction without much help.
So at this point... no update on the car... no estimated delivery date..nothing.
GG Mercedes. GG.
Just a word of warning if anyone ordering factory made A Class.

They are telling me that they won’t be able to confirm if there’s a cost impact to my order until a build slot is allocated, although they can’t tell me when this will be. January? Maybe February?
If there is a suggestion that the price will increase, I want to know ASAP to give me more time to seek an alternative, as I didn’t see much in the premium pack to tempt me to specify it back in July, so I don’t feel partially inclined to pay more for it at this juncture.

What size engine did you go for?
Just the 1.0L 125ps as its for the wife and she is more than happy with that. Its for 6k miles a year without a maintenance package ( that was about £15 per month extra i think) but she paid the £6 a month more for the metallic desert blue paint.
We used Gateway2lease

Even if that's paid out of your pre-tax earnings, it doesn't compare especially favourably with EVEzy, which is £399/month on a rolling contract, 1000 miles per month, and includes all maintenance, insurance, and public charging.ali_XF said:
