Submitted for credit check for this last Friday, get an email from lease company this morning saying underwriters want to call me to ask a few more questions. AFAIK my credit rating is good, is that fairly common for underwriters to have additional questions to get in touch with?

Have been told delivery must be completed by end of November, which is good as I need something pretty quickly, but that there's very limited stock so I'm a bit worried I might lose it.

It looks like a decent deal to me at 18.6%, are there any other similar deals going?

It took about 2 hours, message on screen that it had been deferred to zen finance team , then an email to say all gone through. Signed agreement digitally and then paid the £99 processing fee.
Not the drawn out process I had with cvl as middle man for vwfs.

Chris who I initially dealt with said they’d had lots of interest and that was at 930 this morning.
Good to know. I've submitted my order, at the credit stage now.
Problem was that I was on a plane to Romania until 11 am! Fingers crossed it goes through!

No idea how some people get such low MPG!
I've averaged 35mpg over 27k miles in the 2 years I've had my Cupra 300.
My fronts lasted 19k and rears are the originals with a good 5mm still on them.
I wouldn't say I'm the most aggressive driver but I've made good use of the lap timer on the traffic light grand prix!

I've FTK on one of the Zen Auto Cupra 290 deals, Urban Silver on a 1+23, 15k with the drivers assistance pack (adaptive cruise control!) for £302.

Apparently Seat UK have confirmed the 14 week lead time to Zen Auto but I have asked for the SLI number in due course to allow for an extension to my informal contract extension on my existing car.
Reassuring to hear.

I've requested the Drivers Assistance pack too but was told it had to come with the Safety pack which together added £22pcm.

Did they let you spec just the single pack?

I'm relieved these Cupra deals aren't on the estate (yet!) otherwise I'd be kicking myself for jumping on the A4 Avant (slow 150bhp '35' version). The trials and tribulations of leasing eh?! At least some deals are cropping up though. smile

Just signed on a C300d AMG Line Edition Premium, comes with everything but the burmester audio, 360 camera, keyless go and sunroof.

3+23 £367 PM 10k per annum.

Deal is with nationwide vehicle contracts if anybody is interested. Very excited!

I was told the same and decided to go with it.

It probably isn't worth £528 over the 2 years but having not had it on my current Cupra, I've decided to treat myself!

Cupra 300 here. Average around 22 mph. Drive it how it should be driven... wink

To the Ateca people from the previous thread... Lookers have had an ok deal on the standard Cupra Ateca at 6 + 23 x £315 p/m since the summer. I wanted the Comfort & Sound pack but the cost was much more - £440 a month. I was told this was because there were dealer contributions on the standard but not the C&S or Design packs. I compromised by adding a panoramic sunroof (and looked into after market heated seats) at £3k down, £289 per month. This was at the end of September. Q4 and dealer contributions had been added to the packs. I've now gone with a C&S pack but didn't want to lose the roof - Its costing £5k down and £309 p/m for 3 years (thought if I'm paying all that out I don't want to be thinking of finding another deposit in 18 months time).

A lot of cash but I've chased the car and not the deal. It's around £16k over 3 years - the car is worth £39k so 41% of list price. The standard over 2 years is around £9k - car value £36k so 25% which I don't think is bad?

Confirmed first week in October and was initially told 5/6 months but received an email to say it had gone to build last week. I have the dealer sitting on it til March though.

I had a go of one on a track and was very impressed - didn't feel like a big car, very similar to the Leon and the amount of equipment on the car as standard is impressive. I was looking at an SQ2 and it needed £8k of extras to spec it out how I wanted and that was without a panoramic roof.

Cupra deal ordered have to say absolutely effortless.

Credit to Zen and in particular Aaron near enough instant replies to queries and from first enquiry to order complete in just an hour.

Website does all the hard work for the application no backwards and forwards with docs.

Thanks for the heads up on the deal.

New to leasing and not sure wether to get the cupra deal, I currently own a car and would therefore sell that. My head is telling me keep my car and run it into the ground but the kid inside wants a new car

Made an account and got my quote from Zen for the Cupra. Sent an email to Leasing Options to see what my options are on cancelling my current order with them. Going to try and argue the toss on their mad cancellation fees. I’m happy to give up my broker fee but paying 3% of nearly 30 grand is ludicrous!

I’ll report back on how it goes with them but I’m not really holding out much hope. Fingers crossed really...

Forget emailing if you want one phone them, they’ve probably sold the allocation already, you can’t mess about with these kind of deals.

Couldn't agree more. I went for some options as wanting to have some new stuff to replace my standard Cupra 300. Seemed like the right thing to do, wife agreed also.

Cheaper than the cheapest Lux deal, and under the budget. Just no bucket seats..
