I've had my quote back on the 840i, excess mileage is at 43 pence for non-maintained...
But the monthly fee figures are correct...

If you select 5k mileage over 24months (like for the classic golf R and S4 deals), then that’s just £9,000 over two years, on a brand new model that has a base price of £69k. That’s got to be one of the best deals of all time at 13%!

And a similar £9200 for a M235 gran coupe

Edited by SL22 on Monday 6th January 23:22
The M235i GC deals are certainly decent - my quote for 7k and metallic was about £315 iirc. Tempting, but it’s really more for the wife and she would rather spend less and travel more slowly. That 840 price is insane though for £70,000 worth of BMW.

Just asked about the 840 in Barcelona blue ....

I will wait for promo on diesel and x-drive. Petrol in such huge car and 68l tank is no option for me. Don't want to live at petrol station. BTW, I looked at the deal yesterday, and judging by the price difference between 8K miles nad 10K miles, it was 24p per mile if pre-paid. So, much better than excess cost.

Edit to add: official mpg is 32mpg for petrol, so real life probably 27mpg (10.5l/100km). So you will do about 400miles on the tank if you are lucky.

Do they pay the tax on these?

I've never leased in the UK before, do i need GAP insurance too?

I applied for one of them 218i Gran Tourers on Saturday with leasing options, got a phone call Monday morning asking if I still wanted to go ahead with it. Spoke to the lady numerous times throughout the day and it ended up being 3+23 at about £230pm with 10k miles and maintenance included. Paid the admin fee of around £200 and even got a little bit excited about a new car.

Then got a phone call around 4pm and she told me they didn’t have any left and they’ve asked BMW for more but in the mean time instead of being left with nothing she can get me an active tourer for similar price. I’ve looked on the site and it’s an extra £100pm with that sort of mileage. She hasn’t been in touch today but where do I stand with that admin fee?

Can I get it back or will I just have to get a motor from the same company? I don’t think the same lady is working today as it keeps going to answer phone. Sad
They need to pay you back or supply the car.

Hi All,

I've just signed up for a VW Golf R Estate (base spec' plus Indium Grey paint), in what appears to be a reasonable deal at just under 25%.

£351.90 on a 3+23
10k miles per year
10.8ppm excess mileage
£118.80 processing fee

The deal is with Vertu Lease Cars - https://www.vertuleasecars.co.uk/personal-lease-ca...

They only have metallics left (all cars are pipeline), I dealt with Simon Brown who was very helpful and quick to respond.
email: Simon.Brown@vertumotors.com

As I understand it these cars need to be delivered by the end of April, which works well for me as my current lease expires around then.

Cheers

I’ve also got one on order via Simon too, was very easy to deal with and responded quickly to any queries.

I got in before the new year processing fee became live to save me a little bit but I’m sure my excess mileage is 18p, not 10.8p. Is yours deffo 10.8p as I’ll be querying this if so.
Yes, definitely 10.8pm (9p +VAT) and it’s stated on my contract.

8series is up to £600+ per month now. How can they make such a mistake?! Or is it just click bait for there site?

So guys, I’m looking at the following deal on the e-tron for delivery in sept. But my only issue is that there isn’t much info on it as it’s a new model. Smaller battery, less power output and lower range which doesn’t concern me too much but the potential lower spec is concerning including the nasty alloys!

Anyone seen any better on this car or any other higher spec SUV? I’m looking to hit around the £400 per month mark on a 9+35. I like the X4M deal but it’s outside of my budget:

Any other Audi etron deals out there?

https://www.gateway2lease.com/cars/audi/e-tron/50-...
£9k cheaper than the lowest 95kw etron 36m price I can find on leasing.com - I make that £499pm inc vat. The £59800 p11d so comes out at 30% over 3 years. You don't seem to be able to spec it on the audi site yet though

Considering this to replace my Leaf as the ipace has gone up - If you can run as a company car and your a high rate tax payer £499mp is probably £250-300pm out of your back pocket, even less if your VAT registered as you can claim 50% of VAT too. Crazy cheap!!!!

Just received another quote with M-Sport pack (looks much, much better), £363 per month, £2k down, this is even though the site shows £600+ per month.

840i yes.

As above, does it normally include road tax?

Have you paid an admin fee at all? I've got a quote through and my pointer's quavering over the submit order button, but think I might be too late already.
