I've only ever kept half an eye on M240i prices but an in stock car on 8k P/A with 1 month initial rental for under £400 doesn't sound bad if you want to go fast in a RWD car with a straight 6-

Sod’s law I only just signed up to the Cupra deal at lunchtime to see this S60 deal posted half an hour later!
Thoroughly tempted though - almost the same performance without the chav appeal of the Cupra and a lot of extra toys.
It would mean terminating my deal with VWFS 3 months early. Has anyone here been through this and know how sharply it can be done?
Cheers
It’s no problem. Did it with under 1 weeks notice before. They will charge you for 55% of your remaining rentals. Thoroughly tempted though - almost the same performance without the chav appeal of the Cupra and a lot of extra toys.

Have you had a response this evening with docs? I thought you had just opened an account to call tomorrow?
I’m keen to get signed up but I thought they closed for business at 5pm.
Depends who you get regarding the account.I’m keen to get signed up but I thought they closed for business at 5pm.
Some ask for proof, others don't.
Ironically, I've an XC60 through Santander and don't bank with them. Suppose they assumed I did as I'm staff!

Yup same - ring up and terminated with 2 months left, paid 55% of remaining payments - plus it takes a little while for the auction to arrange collection, so you generally get a decent grace period using the car in between (around a month)Tempted to see if I can cancel the S90 Momentum Plus T4 and go with the S60 R-Design T5.
Pros: cheaper amortised cost, better engine, better design
Cons: no pilot assist, have to open a bank account, faff about cancelling an order already made
Tricky. I'd imagine they won't hang around long too.

How does the S60 compare with the S90?
Does it still feel like a good cruiser?
From what I can tell the R-Design S60 does not come with adaptive cruise contolr or pilot assist. The Momentum S90 I've ordered does (of course that may be a trim level rather than model specific thing).Does it still feel like a good cruiser?

Awesome. What are VWFS like for tyres? Do they have to be over 3mm or just legal? FTK’d on a Touareg this summer and are now in the market for another SUV. Been looking at some of the deals posted for the XC90 but nothing came to fruition on those as brokers said they were ‘errors’.
Currently looking at the T5 inscription
Monthly Price: £463.96 (inc)
Term: 36 months
Mileage: 10k
Upfront: £2,783.74 (inc)
Doesn’t seem like an awful deal but certainly not as tempting as so circa £370 ‘deals’ 😂😂

Is that correct about the pilot assist? I’ve had a few V60s on hire from Europcar. All have had the pilot assist. That could be a deal breaker for me. The system is better than the VW and Merc system I’ve used by quite some way. Pros: cheaper amortised cost, better engine, better design
