VW lease car must be serviced at the main dealer, it is in the contract
I've currently got a Tiguan sourced directly from VW and leased from VWFS. This didn't require servicing at VW. I even called VWFS to check and have it verbally agreed. I ended up having a manufacturers service at Kwik Fit and saved a small fortune on the original quote from VW.The service book is all computer based, so as long as the independent service agent can upload to the VW nectwork (which they can) then that, I would imagine, is all they are worried about (i.e. seeing a service history).
I mean, you could, if you wished, clear the service light by following instructions on YouTube, then just keep your fingers crossed they dont do c across check on the PC based history.......daft, but a possible way to save a few quid if you wanna take a gamble
The C5 family bus arrived today via Zen on a 1+35 @£237 pcm. So far so good... Came on a truck direct from Sheerness Docks and Zen even included a care package with all sorts of bits and bobs (cup, scraper, brolly etc) which was nice.
As always, massive thanks to whoever found the deal. Another win for the thread!
Not been on the thread for a while as i'm in a lease, but looking for my mum and can't find that site that used to consolidate everything - Contract Hire & Leasing was it? Seems to have gone!
Anyway, looking for a small auto, 1+23/35 lease, sub-£150/m. Anyone got owt they've seen?
The Skoda Scala 1.0 SE DSG at £190/m is damn good value but a 4yr which is a bit long.
Note: MUST be an auto.

However to get the auto need the 1.4 T engine and higher trim level. Is a 2 yr deal and is cheaper to take lower miles and pay excess on the base 1.0, need to check same for 1.4 though. Auto at sub £150 is going to be difficult.
Anyone after a 7 seater for a year with 10k miles for less than £3k?
This seems like a great deal for what it is. Cheap even with 15k and 20k miles.

Best offer I have so far to replace my Superb is from Mad Sheep.
Just looked on companies house and they declared tangible assets of £2300 at 31/1/19. Presume this means they are more an agent than a car owner
Anyone used them and are they OK?

What are the cheapest tyres I can replace my front two VWFS Scirocco tyres with before it gets picked up next week?
BCA recommended Michelin, Dunlop, Goodyear, Continental.
How strict is this? Can I get an unknown brand?
I have tried to get part worn but cannot find a pair anywhere

Not thinking about cars "on the shelf" but leased cars, someone has to own it for the duration of the lease. Looks like they don't. Yes - I know it is all about selling tax allowances.Had leases from alphabet and VWFS so far.
