Application in to YES car leasing for the Xceed in dog turd brown!
Cheap motoring for a couple of years.
Any recommendations for GAP insurers?
Having seen the colour in the flesh so to speak last week it’s much nicer than I expected!Cheap motoring for a couple of years.
Any recommendations for GAP insurers?
Only thing I’d question is that it doesn’t seem to be a crossover, looks about the same height and room as an Astra.
ALA for GAP insurance seems to be the PistonHeads default choice.

£500 for paint on a £3200 lease seems nuts to me.
The standard paint isn’t bad enough, or should I say the premium colours aren’t nice enough to warrant the extra cost.
There was additional discount involved so it worked out about 500 for the two services and the paint, 200ish to have something I don’t absolutely hate for 2 years did seem worth it!The standard paint isn’t bad enough, or should I say the premium colours aren’t nice enough to warrant the extra cost.

Anything colour besides the white is a cost option of around £20 a month extra
Did you see Jon`s copy/paste RGW response above ? It implies to me the offer is on white or blue which made think think they were the options on the deal ? I thought white was the only standard option as per Audi Configurator but think I`ll try my luck and drop them RGW an email anyway.

It did come across to me as standard also but just don't like the look of the bright blue colour. I'm going through the finance checks and they said they confirm cost after if I choose a metallic etc... Think I'm going for the white.. Cant justify £600 or so for a colour for 2 years.
Agree regards no way paying extra £600 for 2 year lease on a colour but if they were offering Navarra Blue at no cost then serious contender. Turbo Blue then not for me in this particular model, although love the colour in general.I reckon I`ll end up with white. I also suspect I`ll probably withdraw though once they come back with so called "final" price. Submitted my application other day based on 1+23 and reckon the price may be a fair bit higher when they come back, but we`ll see....

I had some quotes back from Stoneacre saying they only) had metallic cars in stock and the advertised deal was for factory orders on which they couldn't offer a lead time (need something end of Feb at the latest)
5K miles with £474.26 down and £158.09 a month.
Be as step down from the XF but it's pretty fecking useless tbh.

What makes you say that? Did you do it online.. Seems I had a digital signature for contracts so not so sure on whether withdraw now... They emailed yesterday saying prices were correct on website so hopefully there are no hidden price increase. I asked for the same 1 +23
When I spoke on phone he based deal on 3+23. When I stated I wanted 1+23 he was implying better to go 3+23. When I said it was same cost for the lease £7008.46 total incl fee either way, so better for me just to do 1+23 he said that figure for 1+23 would probably go up once "final" price received after finance application processed. Then also said it would be expected to go up again due to audi and road tax price increases with getting the car delivered after April.I`m beginning to think instead of 24 x £277.02 + £360 admin fee it will come back along the lines of 24 x £299 + £360 admin fee, but I might just be a pessimist. :-)

Long time lurker, first time poster.
What do you guys think of this leasingoptions.com deal that was posted on hotukdeals recently?
Skoda Octavia Hatchback
2.0 TSI 245 vRS 5dr DSG [Black Pack]
8000miles
3+23 @ £239.99
https://www.leasingoptions.co.uk/specialdeal?id=27...
I know the Octavia Hatch is about to be replaced soon? (You can't really configure them for purchase on skoda.co.uk anymore).
The optional extras on leasingoptions don't really make sense either:
- Front+Rear Parking Sensors and Virtual Cockpit (+£7.00)
- Heated Wind Screen, Heated Front Seats and Heated Front Washer Nozzles (+£3.00)
- Heated Wind Screen, Heated Front Seats, Heated Front Washer Nozzles and Virtual Cockpit (+£14.00)
- Heated Wind Screen, Heated Front Seats, Heated Front Washer Nozzles, Virtual Cockpit and Front+Rear Parking Sensors (+£26)
I want to add the virtual cockpit and heated seats - is that going to cost £10 extra (£7 + £3) or £26 extra per month ?
Noticed nobody got back to you on this. What do you guys think of this leasingoptions.com deal that was posted on hotukdeals recently?

These are stock cars - the options available will match to the cars they have in stock.
So if you want the VC and heated seats, you'll have to go for the £14 pm option - Heated Wind Screen, Heated Front Seats, Heated Front Washer Nozzles and Virtual Cockpit.

Looking for a second car and thinking electric could be ideal timing.
Looking for a 2 year, 10K miles deal.
Right size would be the Leaf or the Ioniq.
What is the best deal at the moment. Seems to be a few leaf deals around but not sure which is best.
Took the missus to test drive ioniq and leaf 40kw yesterday (weve had a 24kw leaf for 4 years). The ioniq didnt start well with the dealer having the old model, he found a new one we could only sit in but the lack of head room in back was a deal breaker due to lanky no1 son. That then lead the kids and her to rip the ioniq to bits - fugly, grey interior, plasticy, grey cloth seat, plasticy, grey.... They had a point! The leaf is much nicer IMOLooking for a 2 year, 10K miles deal.

I think I might go for one of the LEAF deals, much smaller than the V90 I'm giving back but might manage with a bit of squeezing.
I went to a Nissan dealership and had a look.
My main problem is that I am currently doing almost 600 miles a week, that should come down when I eventually move near to work, but that might be 6 months to a year away.
Best deal I've found is £346 a month (1+23)
https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/nissan/leaf/...
One of my journeys is 150 miles though, will this Leaf do that on a cold day?

In a word, no. Not without charging on route. Have a play with www.abetterrouteplanner.com (click on more settings).I went to a Nissan dealership and had a look.

Hi guys. Anyone know what the effect on road tax will be after April?
Managed to get one of the cheap A6 deals (amortised monthly payment £300 on 1+24) needing to be registered before April. However this would mean handing current car back thereby incurring early termination fee of £500.
Weighing it up and might need to cancel order. Just wondering if deals are likely to be significantly more post April?
