I have a couple of stupid questions - but have looked for result with no joy.

Firstly - I always worked under the assumption that anything between 20-25% for a 23 month lease was a good deal. The last 2 deals I have had have been 2 years - but was looking to do a 3 year lease this time to cut down on the admin side of things. Any advice as to what % I should be looking at for 3 year deals?

My last deal was an Audi A4 - I had to get a mini service done on this after 1 year and assume a major service before I hand the car back - is this normal? Looked through my documentation but can't find anything clear cut.

Have emailed Affinity about the deals posted here for the A4 deals - but looks like its members only, so will be keeping eye open for any other A4 deals.

Cheers.

Although different residuals and other factors come into play, the same comparative 20% of RRP ‘great deal’ percentages are as follows -

2 years =< 20%
3 years =< 30%
4 years =< 40%

All assume 10k per year / full term costs / maintenance costs not included.

The leasing company who I have just ordered the Octavia VRS with have a deal on the Leaf which is at 23.74% over 2 years with 8k miles a year? Seems pretty good..

I hold out hope that Santander have queued the enquiries and are working through them one by one.
If anyone has actually got a confirmed order then spec would be interesting to know and prices.
Cheers
I don't think so. I emailed early afternoon yesterday about it, got an almost instant reply asking for colour and spec and heard nothing until this morning. Been trying to ring since 9am to no avail.

I've just got an email back and been told there's two cars left in white:

£248 based on 10k and 18mths
New S60 T5 R-Design Plus Automatic Winter Pack Tempa Spare Ice White

£279 based on 10k and 18mths
New S60 T5 Inscription Plus Automatic Winter Pack Ice White

I was really after the £229 deal so these are not for me but may be of use to someone.

EDIT: List of all the cars they have left regardless of colour (1pm 21st Nov)

S60 T5 R-Design Plus Auto
With Winter pack and Tempa spare £247 Savile grey, Bright Silver, Ice White

Winter Pack and Rear parking camera £262 none

Tempa and rear parking camera £259 Onyx Black

no extra - none

S60 T5 Inscription Plus Auto
Winter pack and Tempa spare £288 Fusion Red, Bright Silver, Denim Blue, Onyx Black, Grey

Winter Pack and Rear parking camera £300 - Red, Blue Black Silver, Savile Grey, Osmium Grey. Birch Light

Winter pack £279 Ice White, Denim Blue, Grey

No extras £259 Saville Grey

That's what I was told when I managed to get through at about 930 this morning. Fingers crossed...

Got my V90 deal approved this morning, just signed the order form. 3+23 6k miles @ £246/month with £360 fee.

If anyone's still interested I managed to get bright silver w/charcoal interior. They've still got an Osmium grey with winter pack, and a savile grey and onyx black with blond interiors.

December delivery - vehiclesavers.com.

Just had my Synter Affinty BF sales and this seemed pretty good (although 49 months is not for me but I'm aware some don't care). EDIT: just noticed the difference in price between the Big £249 and the finance stuff of £299. perhaps not so good and i assume 249 is without VAT, but still just left it here. EDIT: sry not lease either

new to the forum - thanks to this thread I ordered a cupra 290 mag grey via zenauto on Monday. However after coming across a couple of forums with customers experiencing delays of up to 6 months I am slightly conerned as my current lease car is due back 25th Feb. A lead time of 12 weeks was providing which is perfect but by the sounds of it I highly doubt that is accurate.

If the winter pack adds the heated front screen you lose the heads up display according to Volvo configurator...

It doesn't, it's just heated steering wheel and washer nozzles. Didnt realise it had HUD as standard though...want one even more now...

Unsure of the relevance as it was 2 years ago but when I ordered my Cupra 300, I was quoted a lead time of 20-22 weeks and it actually took about 14-16 weeks. So whilst there are lots of reports of them being late, on occasion they do arrive early.

I was quoted 14 weeks and ordered this week (completed process Tuesday). I need a vehicle by the end of March so have some flexibility on delivery being delayed by a few weeks, but won't entertain anything longer than that.

Just got a very similar deal via another dealer for 10k miles/year, he was supposed to be sourcing a solid white one at 296/mo amortised but they were out of stock by the time credit check was done. Just said yes to the onyx black with blond that you mentioned for 310/mo amortised. Much prefer the black to solid white but still would have taken the cheaper deal given the choice.

It's still <20% of retail price including the admin fee and delivery will be fairly quick, so happy with the deal.

edit: realised the blond was white, I thought it was the amber so called back to change to mussel blue and charcoal.

I've always returned my 2y lease cars 2 months early, negating any risk of a service due message. For the 55% of remaining payments it works out about the same as the price of the service and enables me to get into a replacement vehicle earlier.

Have the first service done just under a month late and then return two weeks early. No danger of the service indicator showing.

Service indicator was showing due in 9 days when I handed back my last SEAT. They didn't care. It's not overdue at that point.

I wonder when they go through the auction whether they get serviced or if the indicator just gets turned off...

Yes I initially was thinking the blond sounded great but I don't think it suits the car (this may also apply for my Mrs....). Plus we've got a puppy so went for charcoal black!

This is my first time ordering a lease car on a factory order from a broker.
The car is due in March. Is the following normal:

'Next step is waiting for the finance documents which come across from the dealer. These are produced once they have the chassis number and vehicle registration so this will be nearer to the delivery, as soon as I receive these I will forward these onto you.'

I am used to seeing all the paperwork up front.

I am now collecting my 420i on Friday instead of Saturday. I now have the number plate. I will be sorting the insurance. This is my first lease.
Thanks to this forum, I can’t wait to collect my 420i tomorrow. Direct Line came back with £800 quote vs £400 from Principal Insurance on car insurance. Does anyone know Principal Insurance? Any positive or negative experience with them?
