They look like a broker to me and the actual insurers seem to be a mix of industry leaders and people I've never heard of.
Ask who the policy is with, if it's the Liverpool based one with the green logo for example then you will be fine [/

I have decided to stay with my current insurer - Direct Line. They swapped the cars around in the 2 policies we wold with them. Managed to save £130 in the process. Total cost to insure 420i with my 9 NCB and wife’s 9 NCB as named driver is £500. With the peace of mind, I am on my to collect it from Bristol.

Do you know if it leaves any mark in the ECU using OBD11. As OBD interface normally allows to delete fault codes etc
No it wont flag anything, it's not like a TD1 for example when the ECU is mapped

It says manual on their website, still looks like a cracker.

Hi all new to the leasing business but FTK on the cupra deal just seemed to good , I know many ask all the time about gap insurance , some are for and some against but is it necessary? My initial payment is £1500 ish , so if the car was total loss in the first 6 months it’s worth having?

No fees

Decent price I thought car value was £28880

Thanks
Seems like a cracking deal to me, especially for an auto. Did you get this recently and how did you manage to get this? Can't see anything similar from them at the moment. Also what colour did you get?

Thanks

Anyone know of any good Cupra Ateca deals going about at the moment?

Been roaming leasing.com but best I can find is:

Initial: £1,855.80
24 month contract - 23 x £309.30

8000 miles per annum

P11d value: £36,110
Total lease cost: £9,167.70
% over term: 25.3%
Which is obviously the 5.3% over mark of perfection but still decent.

You've got to also bare in mind that you're responsible for the difference between what the market value is how much finance is still outstanding if the car gets written off. Not worth the aggro, its worth paying the hundred odd pound to cover your back.

This what I was thinking for the sake of £110 but some people say total waste of money coz insurance covers it

Always check small print on your car insurance as although some Insurance companies cover replacement car in the first year this often excludes lease cars!
Gap insurance is a small price to pay for peace of mind and can cover your initial payment.

Mine has M Sport Plus pack, metallic, folding mirrors and comfort pack - the latter two being already on a car in stock which was preferable (for me) to waiting for a factory build.

Takes 5 mins to physically unplug, give it a Google and there's quite a few guides. Open the bonnet, pull a bit of rubber trim off and pull out three clips and a bit of foam on the drivers' side, reach under the plastic tray and there's the soundaktor. There's a little grey safety catch at the top of it, pull that back first and then you can unplug it. It's a bit of a squeeze but if I can do it (I've got massive hands) anyone can.
