FTK!

So after a brief search to replace the wifes Hyundai i30 due to go back in Jan we have just confirmed our first Frenchie on a stock deal from Zen Auto -

CITROEN - C5 AIRCROSS HATCHBACK
1.6 PureTech 180 Flair Plus 5dr EAT8 - Cumulus Grey 2019.75
1+35
£236.84 pcm
£199 fees
5k p.a
9.01ppm excess

Delivery in January

Citroen configurator lists it at.... wait for it.... £32,480!!!

Quick maths amortised over 24 mths = 18%

Happy with that, and looking forward to slushing around in a squashy loaded Citroen for a bit. Lots to go wrong with all the toys tho obvs...
Great deal! Hope all the bits work for 3 years hehe
Looks ok in the pictures, the online reviews seem good enough, and the self parking/ driver assistance stuff will be a novelty I guess. Also has 'Hydraulic Suspension Cushions' - whatever that is.

Don't think I've ever actually seen one in the metal but that's half the fun of playing leasing roulette, right? smile. Nothing can go wrong. It'll be fine.

Looks good. Mine is due this week. How much fuel did they put in your tank?
Quarter.
Thanks.

At what stage did they get you to sign the finance agreement?

Also did you get the offer of 7 days free BMW insurance? I’m not sure if that applies on PCH.
I received a link via email and signed the finance the day before the collection.

Not aware of the BMW Insurance.

I was offered a Black Friday offer of £450 for Gap and alloy wheel insurance for 3 years - £50 discount to their usual price.

I went to look at all cars in this class with my Dad back in September - Tiguan/Karoq/3008/Grandland X etc... He went on to order the C5 after seeing the rest. It felt a better package than the others, much more spacious in the back with 3 individual seats, loads of legroom and a bigger boot. Also much better equipped than the others at the same (or more) lease cost - for the same money as the 180bhp Citroen with a high spec, we were only able to find a bottom of the range 115bhp Karoq.

Phew!! All joking aside it looks to be a decent ride for the local family bus duties, mixed in with the usual airport runs and occasional weeks away in the country. At 18% of list it was too good to turn down.

I do worry about all the electrics. I picked up my bosses 66 plate Discovery from service the other day and loads of the touch screen stuff was not functioning correctly - on the way back from the dealer!!. I know, I know it was a Land Rover, but my last Passat GT was super reliable. All these mad assistance and tech systems are going to be a nightmare when these things are no longer under warranty!

I don't think they do the 7 day insurance at all now.
They didn't last year when I bought mine.
Of course this may be dealer specific - some dealers don't do the BMW tyre insurance any more.
GAP - the salesman said to me "Feel free to decline the World's most expensive GAP insurance" 😀

I leased a C4 Grand Picasso from 2015 to 2018 and it had 'all the toys' (including self parking witchcraft thingy) and I never had a problem with any of the gadgets.

Did anyone order any additional extras on their BMW 420i M Sport Gran Coupe order?
I changed mine to a 430i and added the M Sport plus pack (HK audio, 19” alloys, digital dash, tinted windows, black grills/mirrors and m seat belts), visibility pack (icon adaptive headlights) , folding mirrors and apple carplay.

The 430i also comes with electric seats

How much did it come to with those upgrades?

Eh, yeah...I don’t think the E class has ever been FWD!

Can get one over 18 month from Santander Finance for less than £600 a month. They were that price when I ordered my V90 back in January.

I’m curious too.

Edit: More curious if you’d have to pay for the full price of those options or a proportion.

Slightly unusual deal on Mercedes s class. Freedom contracts have 40 used cars on 19 plates available at reduced rates. Some won’t want a used car but for those who aren’t fussed it’s a lot of car for the money.

£3.5k deposit
£388 a month
10000 miles p/a
24 month contract
