Time has come to start thinking about replacing the 440GC.... However times change and I now need to be able to fit a German Shepherd in the car along with the a kid or two when we're not out in the family Kodiaq L&k.

Not really wanting to lose the performance of the 440 or go down the SUV route this has lead me to fast estate land....by fast I'm targeting sub 5.5 seconds to 60...examples seem. To be V60 B6, 340i Xdrive, Superb 280 TSi, Golf R, C43 Amg, A6 55....or upcoming Arteon R Shooting break or Cupra Leon St.

Aside from looking into viable options I've been s anning the usual places and not really seeing anything on a 3 + 23, 8k profile that's even remotely atrractive... Any ideas or just a case of bide my time?
I don't think there's a chance for good deal on cars from your list, except Cupra.
Oh I don't know, V60 T8 hybrid Polestar engineered for 762 a month. 4.4 - 0-60 No fees either.

Not serious obviously. silly

This is exactly the sort of thing I'm after to replace my E class, think I'll be giving them a call tomorrow.

Apologies if it's been discussed already - are these factory orders as per the current website/configurator?
Yes factory order. So what you can configure on the website should be possible if you want to add things. I added flat-bottom steering wheel on my order.

Looking at this. Does anyone have any knowledge on the 163 ps Diesel engine? Concerned it might be underpowered.

S4
To distinguish it from the rest of the A4 range, the Audi S4 has its own 3.0-litre diesel engine, capable of 347hp and 700Nm of torque. It's a mild hybrid, up to 5mpg more economical than the A4. It also has S sport suspension as standard.

Same with me here, although I dealt with Ben not James the service was great.

I opted to add the flat-bottom to mine as had them on the last few cars and for the small amount extra (£4.82 a month) I think it will just finish the interior off nicely.

Deal I got was.

Audi A5 Sportback Diesel 35 TDI S Line 5dr S Tronic
Solid White
Black/Flat Bottom Steering Wheel

Contract Term: 24 Months on 3+23
Annual Miles: 10,000

1x Admin Fee: £360
1x Initial Rental: £912.06
23x Months: £304.02

Excess Miles are 9.6p

Was told to expect delivery at the end of September to start of October, but will be able to track on the Audi website as its all done through Audi UK.

Couldn't recommend RGW highly enough so far.
How do you got hold of the Audi Order ID ? Will the lease company provide it or you have to get it from VWFS?

Spoke to 2 different Skoda dealers, Octavia vRS will be on the VWFS system in 4 weeks so lease deals should be coming on at that point.

There will be a specific Audi Dealer behind the order and the broker will put the two of you together early on in the process. Just ask them for the order Nr

Thanks for that - would be the ideal car for me and I’d cheerfully pay a bit more for one of these over an A5 diesel to be honest. VWFS puts me off somewhat, though!

With my ST due to go back in November, I've been keeping a loose eye on this thread. Lifestyle changes mean I'm looking for something a bit bigger. Spotted this deal with Car Leasing Online, which ticks a lot of boxes (although would prefer petrol, but as tuonopepper said yesterday - compromise is the name of the game).

Audi Q3 35 TDI Quattro Sport 5dr
23 plus 6 at 10,000 miles.
£1,620.24 initial
£240.04 monthly
£200 fee.
Works at £8,030 for the course of the contract, 23.5% of P11D.

I've fired off an email as it seems significantly cheaper on deals for this car I've seen recently. Will update if anyone is interested.

I have just requested order number after receiving invoice from RGW admin this morning, quick reply confirmed they will pass it on ASAP and confirmed finance via VWFS.

Have also been advised that original driving licence will need to be posted with finance docs when the time comes, anybody else had to do this before?? It’s a new one on me having lease a few times before.

Got my finance to send off for this today, nearly gave up in a decent lease, was close to buying a e class coupe as I think the interior is much nicer than the a5, but for this price I can take the a5 more simplistic approach.

In regard to sending licence, no I've never done that before. I've sent over a photo of it for proof of id but never sent the actual thing!

It’s been a requirement of VWFS for a few years now. Standard procedure.

Exactly. Deals on these will come as they are just not shifting at all. Having had 2 petrol B9 S5's and driven the new S4 I understand why. But if they put out some cracking deals and you dont expect it to feel sporty and can get past the fake exhaust note it would be a good combo of economy and performance with some fantastic seats.

i'm between leases right now and have a 2013 330d with a map on it. Goes well, but it just broke to the tune of £900 so to say that a cracking deal on a S4 is in my wheelhouse would be an understatement. That said... who knows how many miles i will actually be doing from now on... bit early to tell.

This thread is becoming a little HUKDie. Lots of might / could / if etc. If the feeling towards a particular model on here is representative of demand in general, deals are unlikely. I’m not having a go, just genuinely interested in the thought process. Surely it’s a risk not to secure a lease in the hope that something better comes along? I thought one of the golden rules was if you wait for a deal it won’t happen?

Pre 9am delivery, contactless handover.
Contract through Carleasingmadesimple with Lex Autolease.
Car was delivered to my local Toyota dealer last week, and all of 1.4mile delivery mileage (I kept the home delivery option so the delivery guy gets paid).

Nice and simple.
Contract prices seemed to rise £20pm over last couple of months, but have dropped back down again.

Nice - I bet you can't wait.

I have requested the order number from RGW this morning for the order I placed yesterday, the lady said she would request it and send it over to me, so fingers crossed that happens quickly.

Looking forward to tracking the car as it progresses - also nice on the early September, I have been told to expect end of September, early October - so if it comes before then that would be good.
