This thread is becoming a little HUKDie. Lots of might / could / if etc. If the feeling towards a particular model on here is representative of demand in general, deals are unlikely. I’m not having a go, just genuinely interested in the thought process. Surely it’s a risk not to secure a lease in the hope that something better comes along? I thought one of the golden rules was if you wait for a deal it won’t happen?
Absolutely and I'll go back to my fairly general of 'fast estate', problem is there seem to be no sign of decent deals on anything that matches that criterion right now. I don't have an issue with educated guesses on what might be coming, but you're 100% correct, it doesn't make much sense to pass up a deal that meets a general requirement to hold out for a deal ona specific model that may or may not come.

Fab mate - got my order ID and checked with Audi (create an account) car has been assigned to my name :-)))

Contract Cars (Simon) - seamless transaction so far ! Now the waiting game.....hopefully all being well beginning of Sept.
Nice - I bet you can't wait.

I have requested the order number from RGW this morning for the order I placed yesterday, the lady said she would request it and send it over to me, so fingers crossed that happens quickly.

Looking forward to tracking the car as it progresses - also nice on the early September, I have been told to expect end of September, early October - so if it comes before then that would be good.
Hi guys can’t make my mind up between A5 coupe or sports back on this offer if it was purely on looks which one would you choose

Thank you
Tough call, I think they both look good and was down to practicality for me choosing the sportback.
Remember and factor in the larger doors on the coupe, could be an issue if parking in a garage or limited drive space etc.

I opted for 36 months option. Zero initial. £314.04 per month. That includes metallic paint and is for T3 Inscription model. 8k miles.
Thanks - that's actually pretty decent money for a nice car there.

I’ve had both and much preferred the coupe. I only swapped it for the sportsback as I was sick of the kids moaning about climbing in to the back. If you’re not likely to have many passengers I’d get the coupe.
Thank you so much car ordered finance approved really excited cracking deal and beautiful looking car

i think you just contradicted yourself.

if you were referring to me, i was merely stating that maybe a deal will come along. I have protected myself by having a used car as an interim between decent deals, so you don't need to worry about me. I am waiting for a really good deal as I have had a few times in the past, of which there have been no comparables for a while. I am not bothered about changing before then. So no I won't be grabbing a honda CRV because i have something within me that values a new st car as better than an older decent car, like so many others seem to.
As I think I made clear it’s a general point of interest with reference to nobody in particular. Otherwise I would have quoted that individual. In any event ‘waiting’ for a specific (which is also clear in my post) mystical deal makes little sense to me. There is no contradiction.
i'm not sitting waiting for a S4 deal. I am saying I am waiting for something/anything which looks like a really good deal and is quick. If that came along it would possibly fit the bill, but if we are talking 'rules of leasing' then number one is don't set your heart on a specific car first.

Ive been waiting for the same, my current lease goes back in late October, but I just don't think we are going to see much in regards to something relatively quick for a decent price.

I was going for the same, but with auto box for £331. Really good prices. My only gripe was you get full leather on the Inscription but not heated seats. To add them you need to add the climate pack which adds £20+pm.

Nice, but won’t you be running it for 6 months out of warranty (3 year deal vs registered in January?). I’m not certain the lease company would fix it out of the goodness of their heart unless they are specifically contracted to do so.

Sorry quick question as you have had both... What's the boot space like on the Sportback? Really interested in these A5 deals but just thinking about the odd occasion I may have to get a LARGE dog in there.

This. Except it's not a nice car - it's a chav-mobile for low-league footballers.

There is no link to it, you need to contact RGW direct and ask them about it.

Seriously can't wait l...in my excitement I tracked my car on Audi and it said "arrange with dealer to collect your car" lol I rang the dealer and they havent got back to me yet. Lol I think I when scrolled back on Audi tracking system the car hasn't been shipped yet. Confusing to say the least!

Anyway, hope you get your order ID !

My order is a stock car - basically what I understand is the car has been built and it's in the queue to be shipped to one of the ports in UK. Had I opted for the metallic grey it would have arrived in August. Mythos Black is slightly longer 8 weeks. They aren't many Black to be seen on Autotrader...mostly greys/white.

No, only dealerships can do this nowadays.
Unless this is a very recent change(?) I don't think that's true.

I had an A7 on order back in Nov which I cancelled as it wasn't due for build until April, I then ordered a Q7 (which ended up arriving after the A7). I was given the "SLI" number for both cars which enabled me to track them by registering with the 'MyAudi' portal on their website and adding the car via the SLI; this then gave approx timescale and stages of production, shipping and delivery, hence I saw the A7 arrive at a Glasgow dealership ahead of my Q7. Dealership was happy to provide the SLI as it saved me calling them weekly, I would presume lease provider's admin teams will have the same stance.

Thanks mate.

If you don't want the flat-bottom then its £299 a month... but for the small amount extra and the fact I really do think it improves the look I went for it. My current car has one as have my previous 3 so I am not sure I would like not having it - haha.

Good luck with whatever you decide.
