Thank you
I completed their online pages for the finance etc... once that was approved paid the broker fee. Thats all so far.

Been told the finance documents will need signing much closer to delivery, likely as it ships from EU to head to the UK.

If it’s the £276 deal on what car leasing and Stockport Seat, check about delivery as it states it is not included.
That's the one! But I didn't go via WhatCar, I just rang my contact at SEAT with whom I've previously dealt on a separate deal; he pointed me to the Lookers SEAT in Stockport as they had some stock in transit and I was well surprised to hear the figures when I rang them.

You're right, I double checked with them a moment ago and they do charge delivery so my apologies - I must've been too excited. When asked if it is a trailer delivery or a driver they said it is a driver on trade plates - I refused as don't want anyone ragging it to my place. I'd pay extra if it was a trailer delivery method.
My Leon Cupra ST deal was through a broker (ordered Feb and delivered March 4th on a 1+35 8K lease at £305/m, £300 fee) and it was delivered on a car transporter (car was immaculate with just 5 miles on the clock). I tried two SEAT dealers close to me in Scotland who weren't able to match the deal financially, and the dealers I contacted south of the border wouldn't deliver, so the broker got my business.

Are you going to pick it up yourself in person? I picked up my Cupra 300 from IMG Warrington in person over 2.5 years (I'm in Scotland) and i know loads did the same. £249 on a 1+23 8k miles for reference, though mine was a manual. Redspottedhankey or Thetrainline for cheap train tickets, think it cost me about £20-25.

Still that's a good deal depending on how much they charge delivery?

Has anyone who ordered with RGW been given there order number so they can track on the Audi Site?

I am being told that they provide updates weekly as they get them from Audi, but don't have an order number to allow you to track on the site.

Hearing mixed messages - so wondering what's happening with others on here?
Anyone with Audis on order and without a build update, you won't get one until the factory opens for 2021MY production later this month, third week onwards

I haven’t been provided any build information on the A5 Sportback from RGW yet either. I’ve asked and they said they will provide it when they have it. It’d be nice to be able to follow updates.

When I ordered my S3 back in 2016, it was a week before I got the order number to be able to track it. But I wouldn't’ be in too much of a rush, nothing normally happens for a few weeks anyway from memory.
Thanks all for this - makes sense now, they said the order has been placed etc... but no build date confirmed yet, so what you have said above makes sense. Appreciate the replies.
I’ve paid broker fee did you guys have to do anything else like sign order form

Thank you
worth stating that there are a few parties involved in it, and therefore there is more than one 'order'. There is the order you place with the broker. At that point, there is no car, no agreed place where it is coming from, and often no finance agreed. It's basically a bit of paper or an email, maybe with an entry in a tracker spreadsheet at their end. The broker places the order with the fulfilling dealer, and then the dealer has to also place an order with the manufacturer. As there are things like monthly targets, finance targets, finance cooling off period (often a broker will not order a car with the dealer until the 14 days has passed) ... and also an order with a manufacturer won't immediately translate into a build slot, which again will take some time to become a scheduled build, and then physical vehicle, there may be a few reasons why there may be quite a delay between the time you place the order you place with the broker and the time it becomes a formal trackable order with the manufacturer.

Yep, most important point made there. You won't hear a word for 14 days until the cooling off period has past. Only then will Day One start and the orders will start being processed

2020MY and 2021MY facelift A5s are identical, the only change is a £20 price increase for nothing.

The model was announced and revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show last September, with cars due on UK roads from April. Coronavurus pandemic and lockdown put a stop to that, as we know. So the model isn't ripe for change.

The 2021MY A4 does have changes compared to 2020MY

Expensive. £17K for 2 years for a car that's £50K after discount. No one pays £75K for it, the same as with A8 and S-class.
I would not pay more than £12-13K for 2 years and 10K miles.

Reg on my A4 from RGW was a Bristol one. Audi called me yesterday and thought it was Swindon. RGW not keen at all on giving out that information when I asked.
