Corsa turbo should be a nice cheap one for you for two years.

Hey all, fairly new to the leasing world and looking at getting my first lease car. I'm sick to death of spending money on my 10yr old vw polo. 22yr old driver looking at 2-3 yr deals, 8-10k miles PA looking around a budget of £250-£300 PM. I don't mind paying a large upfront sum cause I'll have money from selling my old motor. Not really fussed what I drive really, just want something smart, comfortable and something that's good value for money. love the volvo xc40s but I haven't seen many good offers about. Any deals that best suit my situation?
https://www.santanderconsumer.co.uk/123contracthireoffer/

I saw this the other day. No comment on how good/bad this XC40 deal is, but it's within £9 per month of the criteria you've listed, and on a 1+35.

Would any one be able to share any email addresses of good Audi contacts? I've gone back a few pages and can't find any. Many thanks

Last 2 cars I handed back were paint depth checked for accident repairs. Both BCA collections.

EDIT: both were accident free so just highlighting that they were routinely checking this.
What if the repairs are done to an excellent standard, but the paint depth gauge shows a respray?

Will they still charge?

I'd also want them to prove it wasn't done pre-delivery.

Interesting point - but then are you prepared to lie?

I think the issue might be that it needs to be repaired by an approved repairer. My friend's SQ7 was hit by a bus while parked. Bus company wanted to repair it themselves and he forced them to let Audi handle it as he knew it could affect the lease.

Turned up today. Lovely car, very different to the GLE and will take some time getting used to the all touch screen dash.

Would’ve preferred a black or grey but can’t complain for the price I secured it for including 3 months free.

Looks stunning mate - I do love the white and black combo to be honest...

Audi brighton are worth a look. They were doing very similar deals to rgw on the a5. Have a look on their Facebook page as it shows their current deals.

For those who ordered the Kuga PHEVs back in Early April from Rivervale. I had a call off them today and they said they are due to dealer end of this week, early next week. They said Lex are just checking people’s affordability/credit checks again as the previous ones have expired now
Think there is a minor recall on he PHEVs, some connector has to be checked. Think this is delaying delivery in some cases due to lockdown and the fact the technicians need training on this new model. Might be a few weeks yet. I’ve not heard anything though was told a few weeks back they were expected end of this month.
They never mentioned that. I have emailed them again today as I have already booked my current car in to be returned next week. Not fussed if I’m without for a few days/weeks but need a car for end of August.

Hopefully it’s something quick and minor to sort out

I have just ordered one for my wife - exact same spec. Did you go for the petrol or diesel? Any options? Have to say I wanted her to get grey but I always think the Audi black editions look good in white. Plus the paint was a steep extra.

I might PM with more questions if you are up for that!

I had a deal all lined up on one of these but couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger as I didn't want solid white. Anything other than white was £30pm extra which tipped the deal out of contention. Pretty ridiculous cost considering the kickback on the residuals for the car being in a metallic colour.

I hope you enjoy it smile

Yes, if it's vwfs. I had a quarter panel repair done to an immaculate standard on my S5. The paint depth gauge showed it up, so I was billed for the repair as per matrix cost.

Hi, I went for the diesel, lovely to drive and really responsive (especially in sport mode)

No options added at all as the lead times were too long, just went for what they had in stock and white was available sooner. If I’m being honest having looked through the options this didn’t come with, it didn’t leave many boxes unticked.

I wasn’t prepared to pay the extra £30pm for black or grey, it all came down to the right deal at the right time that worked for me.

Feel free to pm me with more questions!

To the person who posted further up about if the deal is available have a look on WhatCar, that’s where I sourced it. Or speak to Rob Bates at Swansway Group on 01270 848989, he’s the person I was dealing with.

Mine was 6X20 roughly £460pcm 8k miles a year. Think it was £10pm cheaper for the petrol

Quick question about inspections, having the car inspected today for collection, my wife dented the door and side step on passenger side, had a new door and side step fitted, do I have to disclose this to them?
Interested in other views on this. My opinion is you don’t have to disclose it, but if they directly ask you then you shouldn’t withhold any info. Never been asked about repairs on my lease returns so far though.

My last lease was with ALD and it was returned after a smart repair to a cracked rear bumper and gouges to the lower black plastic valence. No problem with the return.

Is that allowed under BVRLA guidelines?
If you’ve done it to, as you say, an immaculate standard and done by a competent garage that even they would use (insurance approved etc) then what’s the issue?

I had door replaced and rear quarter rep stayed by BMW dealership. There’s every chance that could show up on paint gauge. If I went back to BMW they’d probably laugh at me.

I did the whole thing of not signing the report and disputing it, got a letter pretty sharpish to say it needed paying. TBF, pretty sure the contract stipulated against doing it, so as much as I didn't want pay, it was a fair cop I guess.

The repair was faultess for the record, it was just the gauge that picked up on the filler. It was a pretty decent bit of damage underneath.

No worries. In that case,
Audi A3 E-Tron PHEV (outgoing model)
https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/zenauto-li...

Leon Cupra (outgoing model)
https://leasing.com/main-dealers/lookers-seat-stoc...

Deals start to peter out around here (not a whole lot going around at the moment) so would recommend shopping around vs other types of financing/purchase etc as you may get better value for money.

Octavia Estate (believe it'll be the outgoing model)
https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/leasing-op...

Golf R-Line (New model)
https://leasing.com/main-dealers/lookers-volkswage...

DS3
https://leasing.com/main-dealers/richmond-ds/ds/ds...

Megane RS
https://leasing.com/main-dealers/renault-retail-gr...

Mini Cooper Classic (low spec)

Amazing how the lease collections vary. Ive now had 4 cars returned, 2 for vwfs, 1 lex and 1 ALD. All collected by Bca. Never seen a paint depth gauge used once. The few little marks and scuffs were never mentioned, measured or reported. Nor were a couple of smart repairs

Guess we've just been lucky. Although I've probably just jinxed myself for the impending Audi return .....
