Decided to go for the Golf R Estate from Vertu with Metallic paint. They still have some available at ~£340, 3+23, 8k pa
I'm still deciding whether to go for the Golf R Estate, £318 per month for metallic, on a 6 + 23 deal 10,000 miles per annum, torn between this and a couple of others...

Sadly I am led to believe today’s BMW deals are a red herring.
Central seem to think it is real. They are just looking at my finance now.

What are the good deals on pseudo SUVs at the moment?

Looking to VT my wife's MINI Countryman (hilarious amount of negative equity) so something similar to that.

2 years, 8k miles per year, £250 ish per month budget

Current contenders from Zen are:

MINI Countryman Cooper Classic @ £261 on 1+23

Nissan Qashqai (Acenta Premium auto and N Connector manual) both at just under £250 on 1+23

I'm leaning towards the Qashqai as she's already had 2 Countrymen and it has better spec.

Anything else worth considering?

Morning All,

First off, I've got a current lease which is due to go back mid-May; do I need to contact the lease company regarding it or will they contact me and make all necessary arrangements? This is my first one so I'm slightly uncertain as to how it all works...

I'm also currently looking for my replacement car. Work will be paying for it and it'll be down as a company car, however I've been let loose to find the best deal on whatever takes my fancy. I've got a budget of £300 per month with a deposit of up to £1000 (including VAT). I would prefer an automatic and need 10k miles p/a.

After having a quick look around myself, I've got it down to either a VW polo GTI+ or a Seat leon FR black edition 1.5 TSI. I'm also keen on the new 1 series or a T Roc but can't seem to find any deals on either that fall within my parameters.

I'd be really interested in hearing some suggestions on alternative vehicles! TIA.
Lease co' will get in touch with you - to try to get you to take another car - but nothing to stop you contacting them first.

T-Roc with auto is easily doable under £1k deposit, £300/m over 36 months lease, if that what you want.

Have a look at cars2buy or similar.
Thanks for the pointers; will check out cars2buy and update how I get on imminently.

My Mrs has owned both and prefers the Mini - She had the top of the range Qashqai and it was a plastic wonderland inside. I preferred it to the Mini Countryman though. Every time I drive the Countryman it's like driving whilst looking through a letterbox.

Not sure if this is any good.

Most of the "deals" I see on there look expensive compared to the optimum on here.

Opps didn't see the previous posts 🤭

Looking at this BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer 218i M Sport lease deal.
How does this compare against the Kodiaq with regards to the the middle row for 2 car seats and an adult in the middle of the same row?

My lease with the Kodiaq ends at the end of June 2020 but currently paying £400 a month.
If the size of the middle row seats is the same as the Kodiaq, I will take the plunge for this and pay off the remaining balance of my Kodiaq a little earlier...

Apologies to be off topic but I have a Seat Leon on lease with long life servicing. It’s coming up to two years and I’ve been quoted £250, just wondering if this is about right?

Mine was £189 on its first service via a main dealer. Might be worth calling around to see if another dealer can do cheaper.

Legroom wise it is fine, plus no tunnel. However, from what I saw tonight when taking a look around one the middle seat is not amazing width wise. I would pop to a dealer with your car seats and test it out.

Does anyone know if BCA do collections at the weekends? Trying to figure out when to collect my new car and arrange collection of my current one.
