No..

I am up at 7 and as well as working for myself I look after my mum so dont generally finish until at leas t8pm at night !

For the money I am spending I think I should able to judge it and hopefully rely on friends and maybe others to take a look along with researching the history etc

cheers

Thanks... I do my best with research... honest john, what car, forums etc

The difficulty is in getting the shortlist lol

There is a big difference sometimes between what I like the look of within my budget compared to what people including on here say I should avoid... thats the difficult bit..

Your old car for example..get knocked a lot by owners and critics alike but I like the look of them !

cheers

True but gambling 650 say on my car to get it through its mot, hoping nothing else goes wrong and if it does the car is worth 100 maybe in parts

Gambling say a £1000 on a car with an mot and if it goes wrong worth say £600 then not much difference except I'll have a newer car with hopefully not the rust I have on mine

Cheers

Still looking

2 coupes down.... both described completely differently to how they were in real life ... I dont mind a few bumps and scrapes for £1000 but not rust bombs !

Anyway.. I'll keep looking fr any car that will at least give me 1-2 years reasonable motoring

cheers

I'll tell you one thing I'm learning... what not to touch with a barge pole before I even got to see them

1. Ask about history / cambelt etc ?

2. Is is their car or the mate(s) dads car ?

3. Zoom the photos ..anything that looks dodgy ?

4. Check MOT history..advisories as long your arm ?

5. Trust my gut ?

I'll be able to write a book soon

Cheers
