Unexpectedly sold our car and haven’t sorted a replacement.
Disagreeing with my wife over what we want next, the ideal would be to go to one location and drive/look at various models until she is happy.
It will be a small hot hatch - abarth 595, mini cooper or similar.
Have money in the bank and need a car quickly!
Anyone got any locations or ideas nearest to windermere, there is a mini dealer near us with a few in - nearest abarth centre is preston maybe?

I'm not far from Windermere and I usually go down to Fords of Winsford if I want to look at a number of cars. It's about 90 mins from Jct 36 of the M6.
It's a great place to browse because you can collect the keys for multiple cars from the key desk and have a good poke around them at your leisure. You have to be accompanied for a test drive but they always have people available for this quickly.
You don't need to speak to salesperson until you've decided what you want, so there's no hard sell.
They have a few Abarth's and loads of Mini's in.
They won't move on the price, but they will drop the finance APR's from what's published on the website if your credit rating is decent. The cars are usually well prepared as they have all their own facilities for this.

MP Cars at Barton, on the A6 just north of Preston have 350 cars in including an Arbarth.
I went there with my brother in law to buy a Nissan Juke last summer. Their stock was well presented, pricing keen and they seemed fair people to do business with.
