15-20k miles pa approx £20k

I currently own a BMW M140i however I have recently changed jobs and am now commuting around 50-100 miles per day and am finding the BMW ride far too hard. I am looking for suggestions on what to change it for, I'm not too worried about fuel consumption as I can claim back most of the mileage at the HMRC rate (currently 21p per mile in my M140i). Comfort is important and I think I would like something bigger despite it only being me in the car most of the time. I do however have a dog and 4 month old twins but we do have a discovery sport which gets used for family duties. Thanks

Here's the thing if you're going to be adding upto 25k a year then depreciation will be your biggest enemy so if you spend less you can still get a good reliable car that'll eat up the miles.

Thanks for the advice, I think you’re right regarding buying something a bit cheaper. Pointless racking up the miles on something ‘special’ or ‘expensive’ when all I am doing is driving to and from work!
